I haven't watched a single episode of Agents of Shield after their winter break. I'm behind on Flash after the winter break. I didn't finish Legends of Tomorrow after their winter break. I'm a busy man, if I go to my DVR and see a rerun I'll check again the following week. If I check my DVR multiple weeks in a row and see a rerun, I'm probably going to stop checking. I'll find something else to watch. I'm trying to get to binge watching The Leftovers so I can start watching the show but goddamn if the Berlanti-verse makes it extremely tough to do this. I still haven't started on the episodes of Legends of Tomorrow after their winter break. I'm only got like a handful of Supergirl/Flash episodes left, then, I'm saying "fuck it" and starting The Leftovers.
odessasteps
Watched an episode of the Saint (roger Moore) with both Shirley Eaton and Juliam Glover. Still doesnt top the Randall and Hopkirk episode with brian blessed, nick courtney and Roger Delgado for 60s ITV cameo greatness.

I think part of its longevity and hilarity is down to the fact that McFarlane isn't in charge of the creative direction. I don't know if its my favourite episode, but I laughed so much I was almost sick during the episode when Francine dresses up as Frank the CIA man in order to hang out with Stan at the frat house. The voice and everything was outstanding "DO I GOTTA THROW DOWN SAUSAGE?!"

I really hate when shows come back for two or three weeks, then go on a 2 week hiatus and then come back to finish their season. I'm pretty sure Designated Survivor did that recently and it pissed me the fuck off.
Reed
The Kimmel segment was truly beautiful to watch. I was touched by it. The way he kept breaking down. It's unnerving that he's getting criticism from certain circles. "He said sick babies should get healthcare regardless of whether their parents have money or not! How dare he!" The people trashing him can go to hell. (No, like, literally, they might be.)
Dewar
Disappointed to hear that Fox is not bringing Pitch back. I felt the show was getting better as the season went along. Poor Mark-Paul Gosselaar...

From that wrestling bit, his line when the kids asked him what he was doing in the basement was something like "I don't know. The last thing I remember is coming in through the window." haha That school porn episode is on right now and I missed the "cum loude" line but he just said "Wait, this isn't sexy! This thing isn't even al dente."
PetrolCB
So, I've been using my Xfinity cable box app for Netflix lately. I'm new to Netflix and hate the "are you still watching..." message. Is there a way to disable this?

Casey
I never had that message for Netflix until I switched from using my Roku to my Xbox One. The interface for the Netflix Roku app was basic as all hell, though.

The funeral and cemetery scenes were uncomfortable which was kind of neat considering the situation. The ending scenes were definitely enough to keep me interest for another episode. I'm in the same boat, and I thought Episode 1 was good. Episode 2 was about 50% better. You had Cloris Leachman and Peter Stormare, Gillian Anderson as Lucy Ricardo, and Orlando Jones as Anansi the Spider/Mr. Nancy in one of the best character introductions ever. It also helps that the lady playing Bilquis has spent two episodes completely naked and looking like she belongs on a 1970s velvet painting thanks to the cinematography. You will get no complaints out of me for that. I'm sold on this show.
Spritenaut 32
Jennifer Morrison announced she won't be back for season 7 of Once Upon a Time, if ABC does renew it. I'm kinda hoping this is the end for OUaT. There's been talk of paring down the cast and doing a substantial reboot for season 7, but Morrison's departure seems to put a crimp in that idea. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but some of the arcs have been fun. Season 6 has been alright, but really highlights the idea that this show has always been short of ideas. They've had a couple basic plots, which they've recycled too many times. The Evil Queen returning to kick off the season mostly got an exasperated "Really?" reaction from me. The Black Fairy stuff with Rumplestiltskin's other son (snicker) would probably go over better with me if it didn't echo so many of the story beats from the Peter Pan season (Pan was Rumple's dad, Black Fairy is Rumple's mother). And to top it off, last week's ep seemingly had Gold/Rumple turn evil for like the fourth time is six seasons. He flips-flops between heel and face more often than a WWE upper-carder. The show has never been able to get away from "Will Regina turn evil again? Will Mr. Gold turn evil again" plots and it's really hurt the storytelling. caley
"Now look Bud, she's not dying. See, babies are quite large but the openings they come out of are quite small. It's a design flaw. Uh, so, what you were hearing was just totally natural. Erica's baby has been sitting in her stomach for, like, nine months, you know -eating her poo and drinking her pee - and like most nine-month-old fetuses, you know they start looking for a lifestyle that's a little less gross. So they decide, very obviously, to move to the outside world. And the screaming you're hearing from Erica was just the baby winding its way through her intestines." The Last Man on Earth is still incredible.

The Evil queen story just felt unnecessary and the constant turning of Gold is annoying. I think they are probably th best characters on the show, but they have kind of been screwing them up with this stuff, Gold especially.
RIPPA
For those that care - it is now official official that ABC is bringing back American Idol No word on who the judges will be and whether they are able to con Ryan Seacrest into flying coast to coast multiple times a week
Spritenaut 32
It's an ABC show now? I thought Fox had the rights? According to my wife, Seacrest has been talking about the show for a short while now. It sounds like they're probably going to relocate production to NYC to accommodate his schedule.
RIPPA
Yeah - Fox gave up the rights when they canned it For some reason suddenly everyone thought the property was worthwhile again so ABC, NBC and others were all bidding for the rights
Spritenaut 32
Didn't know that. Assumed it would be back on Fox. I've never watched American Idol, so I'm not really in the loop. Regarding Once Upon a Time, apparently Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Charles won't be returning either if the show is renewed.
Brian Fowler
It got a relatively big ratings boost for being "the final season" Why they expect that to carryover after it turned out to be untrue is beyond me.

Spritenaut 32
Anyone notice that season 3 of 12 Monkey is premiering this month. And they're showing the entire 10 ep season ever three days (May 19th-21st)? That's... interesting. Not sure how I feel about that approach. It almost smacks of burning off the season, though they've already renewed the show for a fourth and final season.
