Has Lesnar had a noticeable positive impact on buy rates, ratings, or ticket sales? Or has the novelty run its course?

He popped one buy rate in three years.

He got a new deal. That's really all that matters.

So did Del Rio.

Yeah because he left and did enough in enough places to raise his value. The fact that they can't make any money with him is their fault.

Brock has an amazing contract. If he didn't move enough numbers internally, why would they give him another one? Wouldn't they have called his UFC bluff and smeared him on the way out?

Re: JBL

I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. JBL's title reign was much like JJ's TNA reign. A good hand who should be the 2-3 matches away from the main event, thrust in the main event for 'reasons'. I have always contended that if JBL was U.S. champion at that time and worked with the mid card Smackdown talent (Rene Dupree, Paul London, Billy Kidman, etc.) it might have been a god run to set him up for the world title (if WWE wanted to continue going in that direction).

Which overlooks how think the Smackdown roster was at the time. It was Eddy or Undertaker, making a new star was the right choice./

Why is a short fat guy calling himself the Yeti?

During JBL's reign there was no shortage of talent that could have filled the main event role. Taker, Eddie, Angle, Booker T, Mysterio and RVD would have made a better main event scene vs. what actually happened. Granted Eddie was on the decline and Angle would eventually be out for some time, but having JBL outside of the WHC picture at the time isn't completely unreasonable and he would have served as a good hand in the midcard.

Why did a guy wrapped in toilet paper call himself the Yeti?

Wrestling is weird.

They've made plenty of bad personnel decisions in the past.

I think there's more evidence of them making poor, ego driven decisions than good, savvy business decisions. Kind of by a margin of ten?

That's my painting man! (This moment still cracks me up).

I always thought Morrison was very high level.

That is a great one. What the fuck was Jeff doing? "Slap some yellow point up there, make a blue squiggly line, and dance in front of it. Done."

Not even considering the absurdity of setting up your easel to do some painting backstage at a wrestling show.

He sets up a mirror to do his painting backstage at a wrestling show every night. No, wait, he's in TNA. Every three months.

Someone might have beat me to this, but Brock popped at least two buy rates, Extend Rules 2012 and SummerSlam 2012.

"...and now, Cialis presents WWE Extend Rules 2012!"

**crowd cheers**

Rarely when it comes to handing out contracts. Also, when evaluating if Brock is "worth it," most wrestlers are woefully underpaid compared to the revenue the company generates. Cena making $10 million means he probably should be making $25-30 million at least. Whatever Brock is making, I doubt the company is paying him more than he's bringing in.

They should get Eric Bischoff to do payroll, he was always great at paying guys what they were worth.

Literally the ONE thing I remember from Jeff Hardy's mid 2000s single run that didn't involve CM Punk.  It was funny because I don't think anybody wrote that.  I absolutely believe that's what he believed and that's what he said.  Compare that to the New Day who were awesome when nobody cared what they were saying so they said whatever, and now they might as well be wearing earpieces.

I didn't think that was the actual Sid, but I could be remembering another Twitter handle that did an awesome fake Sid. Still, I don't see that it's verified.

Yeah, that is not Sid. I cringe at the typical internet fan comments he tweets while pretending to be Sid.

I'm in agreement on Morrison being awesome. Loved his 06 feud with Jeff, the ECW title switch with Punk was fantastic as well as their summer of 09 series. The 2011 falls count anywhere with Miz which followed the very good Sheamus series. Definitely some of my favorite matches.

Personally I thought Maven was a great underdog babyface and wish he was kept around longer or got another run later. He was my favorite TE winner.

Going back to JBL, I was also a big fan of the JBL title reign. Great heel with loads of good matches up and down the card, always finding a way to sneak out with the title. Loved Evolution running RAW while the Cabinet ran things on SD, then they ran into each other at the Rumble 05 and it felt like a big deal since at the time it was rare to see the brands cross paths like that.
