The Nature Boy Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Mistress of a Thousand and One Holds, you say? 4
Technico Support Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I miss the old ROH UWF-style belt. I forgot about the one you see Steen & Black holding, which looks like shit, and I'm glad they went with a new, more symmetrical design when they changed the logo.
(BP) Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 My grandfather used to tell me about how he worked as a plant in an audience once to job to Byers when she was doing open challenges.
Curt McGirt Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 For some reason I thought about the Iron Sheik earlier. This is before I started watching Andrew Zimmern in Dubai. (wow, dude honestly really WAS movie-star handsome in his youth) Shit, the more I look at that... you know exactly who he looks like in that photo. 1
The Natural Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 LOL. Mental note to give you a like when I have 'em back.
Nice Guy Eddie Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 God that new ROH belt looks hideous. That's not the newest belt. That one came post Gabe, pre Sinclair.
CrazyMax46 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 ...That's not the belt anymore? Well how worse could it be now...
Nice Guy Eddie Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Not as good as the classic UWF style belt, but better than the second belt. 1
Rev Ray Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Commando Bolshoi got ripped ya'll And like Joe Piscapo lost all her comedic chops.
(BP) Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 When was Piscopo ever actually funny? You shouldn't say that about Piscopo. His father said that about him once. Once. 8
Zakk_Sabbath Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I wasn't alive/conscious yet, but I've seen some tape and done some reading over the years, and from what I understand, he and Eddie Murphy had a huge hand in SNL afloat during the non-Lorne years in the '80s. I wasn't a huge fan of his, but then again, I could see some of the topical humor going over my head cause of my age. Personally, I'm still hot Eddie Murphy didn't do the proposed spot as Cosby during the SNL 40 special (or anything resembling comedy). And really, in wrestling parlance, Kenan deserved that fuckin' pop anyway, he's been doing Cosby since he was 12.
J.H. Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Piscopo did a solid Reagan and his Sinatra was even better than Phil Hartman's The one skit where he interviews a young Muhammed Ali (played by Murphy) was great (of course Murphy killed at the end with "I made you Cosell!") James
odessasteps Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 The sinatra/stevie wonder sketch was pretty good too 1
