DreamBroken
TNA Impact Wrestling - Airing May 29, 2015 & June 5, 2015 from Orlando, FL *Taryn Terrell (w/ The Dollhouse) def. Gail Kim to retain the knockouts championship in a Steel Cage Match after the Cutter. After the match, The Dollhouse locked the door and beat down Gail inside. Awesome Kong came down and tried to break the lock with a chair but couldn't. Taryn took the mic and said she told Gail that she was nothing. Taryn attacked Gail's hand until security stopped it. *Mickie James came to the ring for a promo. She says she agreed to one more match and hopes it's one of the best of her career. She talks about Magnus being not just her fiancee but her best friend, father of her child, and the love of her life. She called James Storm a dear friend and said it's tough to balance between her friends and her heart. James Storm came out so Mickie apologized for the guitar attack. Storm says she doesn't have to apologize as Magnus is just jealous of their friendship. Mickie talks about Storm being in the business a long time and getting burned. Storm brings up saving her from Bram and buying them gifts to prove he's not a bad guy. Storm brings up meetings with important people in Nashville that want to get in touch with Mickie for her music career. Storm talked about some decisions being tough to make. Mickie ended up telling him to tell them she'll see them in Nashville. *Rockstar Spud def. Manik, Argos, DJ Z, Mandrews, Crazzy Steve, Tigre Uno, & Kenny King in a Gauntlet for the Gold to win the X-Division Championship *Angelina Love came to the ring and talked about Velvet attacking her so she has her own friends now, a security team. Velvet appeared at the guard rail again. Angelina reminded her that she was fired so if she tries anything, security will throw her out like the trash she is. Angelina turned her back so Velvet attacked. Security pulled her off but she broke through for more until they were able to drag her out in handcuffs. *Ethan Carter III came to the ring with Tyrus. The Close Shave Quintet performed a barbershop style rendition of EC3's theme. EC3 declared he is officially the number one contender as two women came out with #1 signs. The quintet did a rendition of "he's a jolly good fellow" to "he's the number one contender" and balloons fell. EC3 says he's excited and asks if the fans want to see Tyrus dance. He then says that won't happen because this is serious business. EC3 says he's accomplished his mission so the only conquest left is the World Heavyweight Championship. Crowd chants for Anderson so EC3 points out he beat him twice. EC3 invited Kurt Angle to the ring. Angle calls it one incredible celebration and says Lou Thesz and Verne Gagne would be rolling in their graves at this. Angle says he can't wait to shut EC3 up but the problem is, he's not next in line. Angle announces that next week is Destination X so the X Division Champion gets to cash in. EC3 argues that Spud doesn't deserve a shot. EC3 tells the Quintet to say goodbye to Kurt for him but Kurt hits the Angle Slam on one of them. *Lashley def. Eric Young. During the match, Chris Melendez came out to attack Young but Lashley stopped him. *Austin Aries & Bobby Roode def. The Wolves in match 3 of the best of 5 after Roode used a steel chair and a low blow on Edwards. *Jeremy Borash brought out new X Division Champ Rockstar Spud to talk about Destination X. Kurt Angle came out and talked about his accomplishments, this being his 13th world title and he's trained harder for it. JB asks for Spud's decision. EC3 & Tyrus interrupt. EC3 argues that Spud can hang his career on being a 2 time X Division Champion. EC3 talks about their history. EC3 says Angle was the greatest wrestler ever before he came along so he could snap Spud's ankle, putting him on the shelf for months until he's fired. EC3 says Dixie will offer him a lifetime contract as Chief of Staff again if he doesn't cash in so that EC3 can fulfill his destiny. Spud goes over all their history and tells EC3 to stick his offer up his ass, he's cashing in. Spud and Angle shake hands and set up the main event of Angle & Spud vs. EC3 & Tyrus. *The Rising (Drew Galloway, Eli Drake, & Mica) def. The BDC (MVP, Low Ki, & Kenny King) when Drew pinned Ki after a doomsday device with Mica. *Brooke def. Jade (w/ Marti Bell) after Marti's interference backfired. *Bram comes out for a promo. He talks about how the X Division made history and built TNA. He says Slammiversary is a celebration of TNA's past history but he hates history and the past. He calls out any superstar from TNA's past and out comes Crimson. *Bram def. Crimson after the Brighter Side of Suffering *Kurt Angle & Rockstar Spud def. Ethan Carter III & Tyrus when Spud pinned Tyrus after Angle hit the Angle Slam. After the match, Austin Aries came out and put over Spud using Option C then announced that he will be cashing in his Feast or Fired next week on the winner of Angle/Spud. CanadianChris
Bonus points if Taryn implies she broke Gail's hand so Gail couldn't give her husband "happy endings".
MGFanJay
I LOLed at EY getting a two camera shoot in his car. The brawl with Kurt was goofy, but short. Gail-Taryn wasn't much of a match, but I loved the post-match ring theft. X Title gauntlet was random, but I dug Spud regaining the gold. Loved the Mickie-Storm stuff - hopefully they keep them going as a heel duo because they have better chemistry than Mickie and Magnus. Wolves vs. Heels Match 2 was unreal. They did 8 billion things and 7.9 billion of them were great. Love-Velvet stuff was just awful. EC3 vs. Ken over-delivered, and EY vs. Kurt was nice too. http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/100-tna/42782-tna-impact-5-29-15-may-mayhem-tv-report-with-ey-angle-i-quit-match Screens -http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/qjtpg4ek9nzvk0kssmb46cxr5m8y7gwx
APO
Somehow I now have DA when I didn't before, so I went ahead and watched Impact for the first time since they got dropped by Spike. Has Matthews been this bad the entire time? Because that shit was painful to listen to along with Al Snow being worse than Lawler.
cool arrow
Believe it or not, Josh did one show by himself and he did a damn fine job.

Hail Sabin
The Taryn post match angle was great and I look forward to see where it goes. I'm happy Spud got his belt back and we'll see if he uses option C. Dirty Heels vs. Wolves was MOTN and at the moment is my 2nd favorite match of TNA 2015 behind EC3 vs. Spud Hair vs. Hair.
DreamBroken
Loved the Wolves/Dirty Heels match 2, awesome stuff. Enjoyed the knockouts cage match and post match angle as well, Taryn is adjusting well to the heel role and continuing great performances. Pretty good main event for the Angle/Young blowoff as well, really dig Angle's title reign thus far.
MGFanJay
LOVED LOVED LOVED the EC3 celebration. Kurt's gobsmacked face ruled. Lashley vs. EY was okay. Ditto the Dollhouse skit. Lashley vs. EY was fine, but nothing memorable. Brooke vs. Jade was okay fanservice, while The BDC vs. The Rising wasn't much, but got over a finisher for the faces. The Storm-Mickie stuff got really dark with her being pushed onto train tracks. Everything with Spud and EC3 was great. Wolves-Heels III was pretty good, but not as good as last week's match. The Velvet-Love stuff is fine uninentional comedy. Main event was every other holla holla tag match ever.http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/100-tna/42863-tna-impact-wrestling-6-3-15-tv-report-wednesday-night-debutScreens -KOshttp://www.imagebam.com/gallery/sra8fhfx6z27ozzuu29bicvzhnii9mz1
Pete
Missed most of the show, but Spud's promo was fucking tremendous. Love his babyface fire on the mic. What's the deal with Josh white-knighting EC3 all of a sudden? And where did they dig up the Pope from?

Jamal
Angelina/Velvet would be more enjoyable if it wasn't a retread of Stephanie/Brie. The Dollhouse are great evil bitches.

hammerva
Pope is so much better a color commentator than Al Snow. There are color commentators on indy shows in front of 100 people that is better than Al Snow. Even a slight bump is a huge increase
Patrick B.
The friend zone is serious business ya'll. To be fair, marriage to someone else is usually a pretty good indication that she's not interested. Stevie Ray Von Erich
Are we really going to debate sexism in a thread where there are gratuitous screen grabs of women's asses and the phrase "white knighting?" Take a look in the mirror, y'all.
