Yes, whichever one of them does it (Nick?) was doing it in the Best of the Super Juniors this year. It got over too, Japanese crowds were laughing at it. I also much prefer English commentary that usefully adds in any necessary backstory and that tries to give context to the action through discussing/pointing out strategies, etc. I don't know if Jim Ross circa-2015 is the best guy for that (I'd prefer Jim Ross circa-1992), but it's a start. Anyway, I love this. I didn't mind the Japanese commentary but JR is tremendous even if he is sleepwalking through it. I find it funny though that GFW is paying to have Jim Ross go to Japan for this (he said he would be ringside so I assume he's going) while TNA had a ppv in Japan last month and they had to do their commentary via skype.
