SEPT WRESTLING DISCUSSION THREAD

RIPPA

We know that WWE has paid for treatment for former employees in the past. Does anyone recall if they ever made that offer to Tammy? It sounds like she needs some type of drug counseling and/or psychological care.

IIRC, they made the offer to Tammy, and she took them up on it so many times that she's the first person that WWE has formally ceased offering to send to rehab.

they didn't even give her a plaque for being a bigger fuckup than Jake Roberts and Scott Hall

Didn't this also involve her using their services THEN bad-mouthing them in some shoot?

It's on the Internet a few places, but Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit played a concert in Texas last night and asked people to pray for his friend Mark aka The Undertaker as he's sick. Not sure what that means, but hopefully nothing awful with the two young kids.

Not jumping to conclusions, being alarmist or anything ... but it crossed my mind: What would be the worst part of "if 'Taker were to die at this moment?"

A guy named "Undertaker" ... dying the same year that his vaulted streak was broken ... in a match where he apparently was legit injured ... by a guy with a legit fighting background ... managed by a guy known for cutting some pretty biting promos .... preceded in death by his former manager who played a funeral director ... working for a company that seems to enjoy booking shoot deaths into storylines .... hmm, feels like I'm missing something ...

Not to make light of Taker being sick, I really hope it's not life threatening, but there are other alarming things from this story.

1. Taker is friends with Fred Durst

2. There are people somewhere that still pay to see Limp Bizkit.

Bearer didn't just play a funeral director. He was a licensed funeral director.

The guy was expected to undergo multiple surgeries to live more comfortably, perhaps it's just a recovery kind of thing. When someone asks for prayers, it usually denotes a level of seriousness however. Maybe he lied to Durst to avoid his concert...

Watching WWE Vintage over here in the UK and they had Big Show vs HHH on RAW for the WWF title in January 2000 and when HHH wins, Big Show just gets up after the 1,2,3 and walks away no selling or anything.

Anyone know if he caught heat for it back then or anything?

EDIT;Also, hope Taker is ok.
