Phantom Lord
For the record, Alvarez is saying people in WWE are under the impression Hogan is re-signing with TNA, He would be an idiot not to. They pay him all kinds of money most of the time just to show up and stand around in the back and yell at people. I also saw I think in the same news bit that the WWE has almost no interest in signing AJ Styles.

Bustronaut
Dave speculated last week that if Panda were thinking of selling the company the biggest tell would be them re-signing Hogan because he's really the only TNA selling point for most money marks. jstout
Wouldn't it seem most likely that Viacom would buy TNA like it did Bellator?
Spontaneous
Guys, does Kenny King even exist anymore? I feel like he probably is still employed but he hasn't been on Impact in forever.
Ace
They generally only book 2-3 X Division guys at a time. Right now it's Manik and Sabin.
Reed
Apparently Mickie turned down a $60,000 a year offer to stay.

Kaptain Kayfabe
Apparently Mickie turned down a $60,000 a year offer to stay. Wouldn't you? I mean, Mickie is charging $1600 or $1800 a pop for indy bookings right now. Even if she charged $1000 and got one booking a week, she'd clear nearly that much in a year - without the embarrassment of being associated with TNA. Dewar
I feel sad for any money mark willing to pay Mickie James $1600-$1800 for a show.
Overly Critical Man
Apparently the base salary is $60000 and would've included appearance fees and bonuses on top of that.
Reggie20x6
But does it include travel? She's got to be flown in. Business Class. That's right - Business Class.

Patrick B.
Ugh, that's steep. A part of me wants to see Mickie vs. MsChif at some point, but I don't think it'll happen with that pricetag.
Overly Critical Man
She loses the ability to have Serge sing on her songs. This is clearly a negative.
Victator
A price tag like that usually means they do not want to do indy shows. Sabu said his price for barbed wire matches is $1,000 more than you are willing to pay.
Overly Critical Man
In a world where Davari supposedly gets $1500 plus travel and lodging, I'm not surprised at Mickie's fee demands.
Reed
$60,000 a year sounds like a decent amount until you factor in travel and road expenses, as well as having health insurance (which can cost a ton for wrestlers). Also, TNA can be difficult with outside dates. They over-charge and take some of the cash. And last year they banned wrestlers from appearing on an outside show that would appear on DVD (which put a lot of indy promoters off of bringing in TNA people). It's not really a surprise she figures she'll be better off on her own.
Niners Fan in CT
Mickie is supposed to be on some indy show here in CT soon. Maybe I could go.
Reed
I feel sad for any money mark willing to pay Mickie James $1600-$1800 for a show. Tommy Dreamer can get $1500 for an autograph session, per Meltzer, so her demands aren't THAT outrageous, especially since she's only just gotten off national TV and is pretty popular with fans. In a few years she may have to ask for less but not now. She may want to do shoot interviews too, which can often bring in a fair amount too.
