cool arrow
Meltzer's theory regarding Hogan is that TNA is worth more with Hogan than without, if Bob Carter decides to sell the company. So if Hogan does in fact re-sign, that would seem to indicate that the writing is on the wall.
Ellsworth Toohey
Bubba has said before that he wouldn't go back to WWE unless he could do the Bully Ray character, and he doesn't think that'll happen since WWE is "PG". I'd only want Bubba brought back if it was for a semi-shoot beatdown by Kane and The Undertaker ala Kronik at SummerSlam 2001. I think her contract ran out and she opted not to re-sign. Her decision, not theirs. At 34, Mickie is a tad past her expiration date for WWE standards. Still surprised Ivory lasted as long as she did. nate
I could see Bully Ray working quite well right now given that THEY'RE ANTI-BULLYING AND HE'S A HEEL. But they've basically got Ryback doing that aspect of things now. Devon as a WWE trainer would be a good idea, but I don't see him signing a WWE contract without Bully. Yeah, I've never gotten that whole "omg bully heels totally contradict the BA Star message" spiel. What, and the Smurfs is unsuitable for children because of Gargamel? My mom thought so...I wasn't allowed to watch it, it was witch craft according to Jimmy Swaggart. I was, however, allowed to watch juice filled matches from Jim Crockett NWA, so go figure. Only way this works is if I'm right with this guess ... "Bible Belt" right?
Ultimo Necro
Dear TNA: Shitcan Hulk and open up your pocketbook to bring back Cody Deaner~! So glad Im not the only one. He's part of a list of TNA undercard people / random gimmicks that for good or bad, I geniunely was entertained by. Cody Deaner & ODB Shark Boy Lacey Von Erich / TBP Eric Young Curryman All good stuff.

Niners Fan in CT
Probably true and Mickie still looks incredible in my view. Now.. there are probably some on the writing team that still think she's fat or whatever but they are obviously terrible or shouldn't be taken seriously. LooseCannon
Really, the idea of WWE bringing her back might hinge upon how much drama she can create for Total Divas.
mco543
I really do love how Mickie took a page out of the NBA playbook and turned it on the last few months of her deal to get back into WWE. I don't think I've ever seen a "contract year" in professional wrestling before.

Reed
I think a potential problem with Mickie, aside from her age, is the whole Cena thing.

Cody Deaner & ODB Shark Boy Lacey Von Erich / TBP Eric Young Curryman All good stuff. Cody and ODB had great chemistry, and then I remember one match Deaner had (can't remember who he wrestled or when, darn it) when I was damn well convinced he was gonna die for the audience's amusement - I couldn't figure out whether he was taking all these insane bumps on purpose or things just weren't going his way, or a combination of both. Either way, he's got moxie, which some people just seem to lack.

Reed
I think a potential problem with Mickie, aside from her age, is the whole Cena thing.Cena thing? She had an affair with Cena in 2008/2009. She wanted it to get serious, but he broke it off. She promptly proceeded to go into stalker mode and made his life rather difficult on Raw. She apparently got drafted to SmackDown soon after pretty much because Cena wanted her away from him. The stories have been flying around for years, but Kenny Doane famously talked about it after news of Cena's divorce hit. He blames it for ruining his career. Basically. he found out what was going on, complained to management, they said they'd handle it and then he vanished off of TV soon after. IMO, he was a fool for thinking management would take his side over Cena's.

Maybe not the way he'd hoped they would.
BrianS81177
I would think WWE would want a cut and/or control over her future music releases if she re-signs. That could be a hang-up.

I don't think her music is anywhere big enough to be on WWE's radar. Hell, the one song people know she does is co-sung by Dixie's husband,
SovietShooter
Wasn't that the reason she left before though? Same with why Killing left after his initial run back in the day too... they wanted him to sign over all his publishing rights.
Ellsworth Toohey
Or maybe they trick Bully Ray by offering him to come in for an "audition" in a "Legends" match against Vader and then they tell Vader 'do to Bully Ray exactly what you did to Nikita Koloff at Halloween Havoc 92.' BEN!
Meltzer's theory regarding Hogan is that TNA is worth more with Hogan than without, if Bob Carter decides to sell the company. So if Hogan does in fact re-sign, that would seem to indicate that the writing is on the wall. Meltzer's a buffoon. The TV deals are TNA's biggest/only assets. No one with any sense is going to buy TNA if it includes having to absorb Hogan's ridiculous contract. I really do love how Mickie took a page out of the NBA playbook and turned it on the last few months of her deal to get back into WWE. I don't think I've ever seen a "contract year" in professional wrestling before. Nah, she worked hard her whole run. The heel turn just freshened her up. She definitely earned her money. Now, Anderson on the other hand. They paid too much for him because Hogan/Bischoff thought he was a "game-changer" and he's a mid-card comedy act at best. Worse he just slacked off for the past year or so. Hernandez, Hogan, and Bischoff's deals should all be coming due. I say part ways with all of them. They should throw whatever they're paying Bischoff at Jim Ross and have him serve as a shoot general manager for TNA. They desperately need someone that 1) knows what a budget is and 2) understands that you need to operate within budget. Wasn't that the reason she left before though? No, she was fired. The aforementioned Cena situation followed by some perceived "partying too hard" on the road. They fired her girl Serena Deeb first to send her a message but she didn't get it so they shit-canned her after an overseas tour. Probably thinking of Maria Kanellis with the music thing.
