I know he's happier and healthier now but Skinny Batista is going to take some time to get used to.

I know alot of it was hereditary but what happened to Hunter with the health scare a few years ago had to be another reason to cut the muscle down. Both guys have be bodybuilding their entire lives almost so I'm cool with it. And hopefully he'll get other roles considering he's a better acter than about any other wrestler ever

It's like post-weight loss Jonah Hill. It just doesn't look right.

Dwayne Johnson, when he first left wrestling for acting, he tried to slim down and get lean. He thought it would make him more relatable (I think it was mostly for Walking Tall, a movie in which he gets beaten up by like 6 guys; Being 220 lbs and losing a fight is a lot different from being 270 lbs and losing a fight apparently). But that didn't work out too well, so he went to the other extreme instead.

Now the thing is, Batista can actually emote on screen, and is capable of playing different characters, with different motivations and ways of expressing themselves. Whilst Dwayne, he's only really succeeded when playing The Rock, so that's all he does now.

I get why they booked Rhea vs Liv Morgan at Badd Blood but if the plan is Liv vs Rhea at Mania it will have ran it's course as far as booking them in singles.

You know what move sucks? The currently very popular "standing headbutt but you're mostly just watching me slap both of my thighs." It sucks a ton.

Somebody should do an old school leaping headbutt instead.

Yeah, it sucks because even when the execution is good the leg slap is dumb and out of place.  Bring back the Fujiwara-style headbutt with the big windup and leg lift.

Some big guy should also pick up the Zinedine Zidane/Vladimir Koslov headbutt to the chest; I always thought that looked cool.

Not really big guys, but Nigel and ZSJ both hit multiple battering ram headbutts (to the chest) two and a half weeks ago, in the Wembley Casino Gauntlet.

OMG THANK YOU

I kept meaning to post about that.  "Throw a half ass headbutt while slapping not one but BOTH thighs."  Fucking awful.

The "headbutts in pro wrestling" thing has been baffling to me for a while. I get that people want to stand out and do something that looks different. But honestly, while I haven't seen a ton of his matches, whenever I see Kento Miyahara I wonder why more wrestlers aren't doing headbutts like him. His headbutts are worked, he's pretty clearly just grabbing the other wrestler's head and headbutting his own hands...and it looks fine. No thigh slap needed, it's clear as day what's happening, anybody who has ever conked heads with another human being knows it hurts (and it doesn't make a "thigh slap" sound...), and is no danger to the wrestlers in the match.

Never mind the whole "there are a thousand ways to legitimately hurt someone in a real fight that aren't as dangerous to your own self as a headbutt" thing. Yet pro wrestlers insist on throwing crappy looking headbutts, or worse, shoot headbutts. Because "legitimacy." Maybe there's some sort of lethwei connection to pro-wrestling that I've missed out on all this time.

THANK YOU!!

I am fine with an occasional leg slap here and there, but save it for moves that would theoretically have a chance to produce some sort of slapping-type sound (grandfather superkicks in). People doing it for headbutts and knee strikes hurts my brain as if anything they'd produce a dull thud.

Vince sure loved putting his trash political beliefs into his booking, didn’t he?  Vegan and environmentalist?  Heel.  Person who is outspoken about human rights (for the wrong humans)?  Heel.  Antifa and BLM proxy stable?  Heels.

I kind of judge Danielson a little for selling out his beliefs like that.

Don't forget Christopher Nowinski's opposing the Iraq War (and then having a debate with Scott Steiner about it)

Or better yet, do forget it.  And when you do give me pointers because I'd like to, too.

Vince was ahead of his time having Bossman cook that dog.
