It could be recency bias, but I'd throw a pre-COVID Keith Lee's name into the hat for this one. In keeping with your AJPW theme, I'll also say Bossman - I forget what match it was I saw a while back where he was doing like a prototype version of the Claudio/Sami-in-NXT, run-around-the-post thing, but it was super friggin cool. Like, pick a similarly built modern guy - I don't think a JD Drake or a Kevin Owens could do it today as well as he did it then, even w the template already in place. Mans was sweating like Mike Tyson in whatever match that was where he had gonorrhea 2 1

Will Ospreay. Zack Sabre Jr. Dolph Ziggler. Roderick Strong. Seth Rollins. Finn Balor. What do you think? Probably missing someone obvious. Have you not seen the Hero vs Punk matches from IWA-MS? 60 minute 2 out of 3 falls, followed by a 90 minute TLC. There was a match that went 104 minutes once, but those guys can both fuck off. But in the GCW Fight Forever 24 hour stream (it was in the Pandemic era), 2 of those hours were a 120 minute Ironman between Tony Deppen and Jordan Oliver. 1

J.H. Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Hey, Misawa, Kobashi and Kawada had crazy stamina/cardio! And that's working King's Road, the most physically demanding style of it's time! James 3

Nice Guy Eddie Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Austin Aries and Bryan Danielson went 74 minutes at ROH's Testing the Limit back in 2004. 3

I think that was in Bossman's match with Kobashi. Traylor in AJPW moves insanely smooth for a guy his size. It's really an impressive little run. 1 1

Also, apparently Austin was a cardio monster. Just never got a chance to show it much later in his career because most of his matches were Attitude Era brawls but I've heard a few guys from that era say Austin's cardio was insane. 1
Technico Support Posted September 24 Posted September 24 lol Ric Flair getting divorced again. Trying to match his number of title reigns with his number of ex wives. My dude is the poster child for the need to destigmatize therapy. 3 1

Ric already has a new girlfriend according to Conrad so yeah. 1 1

Therapy only works if you go in with the mindset that you need to change your life in fundamental ways and would like help figuring out how to do that. Does any of that sound like Ric Flair to you? 6 1 4

Somehow drinking, womanizing, and generally refusing to grow up doesn’t solve your problems. Who knew? 3
Cobra Commander Posted September 26 Posted September 26 feeling like I have a backlog of wrestling netflix stuff to watch between the AJW series and the Vince thing
BloodyChamp Posted September 26 Posted September 26 This will sound like a copout thing to say but some cardio guys are just born with it. They’re like a woman born attractive. Ric Flair never jogged a day in his life at his own will. In other words he probably did jog or run in highschool but only because his coach made him. So with that said, whatever the story on it was, he was a GOAT cardio man.

The time may come I do because of my love for Bryan Danielson. Still angry at what Austin Aries did to Christy Hemme. 1
