Infinit Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Has anyone commented on what the fuck JBL is doing showing up in MLW and TNA? How random is that? What is the payoff?? 1

Game Changer Wrestling, he's not found a time machine and showed up in Georgia Championship. I''m assuming he's been hearing from Cardona how doing the indie/ small promotion circuit can bump up your merch sales and possibly persuade WWE to think about bringing you back. 3
Infinit Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Thanks guys. That's even wilder. But again...what's the payoff? When's the last time he had an actual match? Is he capable of doing anything more than throwing lariats? 1

Man, the 2014 Royal Rumble match and 2015 Royal Rumble match were the biggest fuck the fans ever. In the 2014 Royal Rumble match we were waiting for Daniel Bryan and when the last entrant was Rey Mysterio, fans were pissed. Rey Mysterio is one of the biggest babyfaces ever but was booed. So was the winner, Batista who made his return. 2015 Daniel Bryan returned from injury and was favourite to win but was eliminated early and as he was selling his elimination, Goldust and "Shattered Dreams Productions" came out. The rest of the Rumble was dominated by Corporate Kane/Big Show until Roman Reigns won. Whereas the year before, people wanting Roman to win, not this time even with the help of The Rock. Still remember Rock's reaction to the crowd when he raised Roman Reigns arm to boos and how pissed he was with the post match interviewer backstage. 2

For years at shows to help me deal with the crowd and my nerves I wore a Ultimo Gurrerro mask. Which allows my long goatee to hang out. Got called Ultimo Briscoe more than a few times by people. Might have been the camo shorts, wrestling t shirt and dark green doc martins i wore to the shows. Death From Above Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Now I legit want to see Ultimo Briscoe on the indies 3 1 1
Shartnado Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Knowing that there are some really seedy promotions/ promoters out there, this would have so many possibilities to go horribly wrong, but if done right, it could help both fans and wrestlers alike. So: During WrestleMania Weekend (or whenever), has there ever been a WrestleDepression event? A fundraiser to spread awareness for anyone around the business who is dealing with any number of issues that are prevalent in the business as well as society. Now, it would be absolutely crucial that it would be promoted by someone that can be legit trusted and acting in good faith, but I'd like to believe that there would be a lot of wrestlers that were willing to participate if that was the case. 3

Technico Support Posted September 20 Posted September 20 I love the unintentional or maybe intentional play on words because of course the opposite of Wrestlemania would be Wrestledepression. Personally I'm working on a happy medium, wrestle "feels allright as long as I can keep the dark thoughts at bay with exercise, rational self talk, and the occasional edible." 2

I know he has a history in Mexico but it can out of nowhere but especially with his JBL gimmick it would have been wild to see him in his Prime in Mexico with that gimmick. I never expected him to do anything physical for anyone again at this point. Him being put with Corbin was a bomb and Corbin is able to make almost ananything work. JBL probably doesn't need the money either and he seems to always get work in WWE when they need a Legend to fit a role so it's not like he's doing these appearance to get WWEs attention 1
odessasteps Posted September 21 Posted September 21 I wonder if he’s just doing to keep his name out there and maybe just have some fun. 1
