Tromatagon Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Nobody gave a shit about work rate in W*ING and it was awesome. Monster masks > move sets. None of them have to be good, they just have to be a step above sucking and they're all far better than that. 4 1

blitzkrieg Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Went ahead and caught up on the last few weeks of Speed which took a whole 15-20 minutes. Still like how the wrestlers really seem to work to lay our the matches in such a different manner than the main show stuff. Also Andrade out there getting booked like a monster compared to the other people that have competed on Speed so far. 1
DragonZombie Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Do u want Bad Blood back as a PLE? I think they should use blue or green bloodpaks or blue or green cgi blood on the Superstars. Would be the 4th edition of Bad Blood, if they're really bringing the event back sez the news.
caley Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Maybe I'm an old man, but I thought the biggest problem with Uncle Howdy's group is that it was so dark I couldn't tell what was going on until the final shot. You kids with your low light action! This isn't some Marvel-trying-to-save-money-on-CGI-by-making-everything-dark, this is WWE! Turn on some lights! 3
Dolfan in NYC Posted June 20 Author Posted June 20 Two pieces of Wyatt Sick6 related news: 1) As I put over in the Sports Media thread, the Pat McAfee Show was 'taken off the air' by the Wyatts. 2) Since they murdered Chad Gable on Monday night, he's been removed from his MitB qualifier on Monday. It's now: Spoiler DRAGUNOV~~ vs. Bronson vs. Braun In a "Let's Just See How Strong You Actually Are Russian Boy" match.
Cliff Hanger Posted June 21 Posted June 21 I mean it's Corpus. On a Monday that's going to be the literal only place open by the time they get outta the building. 1
Peck Posted June 21 Posted June 21 (edited) Yeah, I mean the few murders I've committed I always made a point to get a Jalapeno & Cheese afterwards. Edited June 21 by Peck 7
madl Posted June 21 Posted June 21 (edited) I’m starting to think Hunter’s reputation as a booker is a bit overblown. I really didn’t think Raw would run an angle that interests me less than the Bloodline civil war. Edited June 21 by madl 1
Cobra Commander Posted June 22 Posted June 22 After all this time, Yokozuna has returned to join the Hart Foundation Jacob Fatu is here and he destroyed all the babyfaces 1 1 2
The Great ML Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Jacob Fatu has landed…and in much better shape since I saw him last in MLW. His attire reminded me of late era Headshrinker Fatu when he started wearing boots.
Cobra Commander Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Jacob Fatu's table spot on Cody reminded me of when they brought Sabu into the WWE and had him hit a table spot on Cena the first night. As someone who was watching MLW in 2019/2020, it's good to see that they finally found a way to get this scary lunatic into the WWE. 4 1
Nineteen Posted June 22 Posted June 22 I think Drew/Punk is the perfect Walter Sobchak program, "You're not wrong, you're just assholes...." Cody Rhodes was 38 years old...... Dammit, wish I knew sooner Smackdown is at MSG next week, I totally would have gone but have another obligation. Punk spending the night at a "HOSPITAL?!" Really liked the finish to the women's match, I know the finish itself has been done but it's a perfect way for Chelsea to get in. Wondering if Jade gets to set some friction with Bianca.
hammerva Posted June 22 Posted June 22 So now the biggest question when Roman comes back is who is their 4th. He may get the Usos back. I mean are they going to jump the gu. and try to get Zilla Fatu from GCW in. I can't picture the Rock turning again with a match against Cody apparent
Cobra Commander Posted June 22 Posted June 22 hell, let's get wild and have Cody teaming up with Roman so that Cody can catch another beat down in pure Dusty style 2

Cobra Commander Posted June 22 Posted June 22 can Hikuleo get into the 1994 Meng "Big Bubba homage" outfit (shades, black jacket, white necktie)? 1

I can't picture the Rock turning again with a match against Cody apparent I'm half expecting Roman to come back humble and ask earnestly for some of his greatest foes to help him kill the monster he built--Jacob, Solo and the Tongas vs Roman, Jimmy, Cody, KO and Orton in WAAAAAAAR GAAAAAAMES. Not that many other things to say except that it seems weird that all 3 MitB qualifying winners tonight were denied entrances, and Andrade's Brian Christopher powerbomb was ugly and scary. Oh, and terrified emasculated Heyman skittering around nervously, trying to get people to just get out of Solo's way for their own good, is masterful. And over on LVLUP, glad Karmen was only out for a couple weeks. Maybe Wren Sinclair would win every once in a while if she stopped trying to do this in her sleep? Edited June 22 by Cliff Hanger

Eivion Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Opening segment with Punk, Heyman, and the Bloodline was good. Women's MITB qualifier was solid and fun all around. Was pleased to see Chelsea sneak away with the win. She needs these occasional victories and is someone who likely has few issues doing dumb shit in things like ladder matches. Hope Jade wins her qualifier next week to set up at least a little tension with Bianca. Drew murdering Punk outside and carrying him like an empty sack to the entrance ramp to display to all of Chicago was neat. Orton/Hayes/Tama was solid. KO/Waller/Andrade was good. That finish was impressive with how perfectly it seemed to work out. Generally hate stuff like Cody/Solo being nothing more than an angle, but it was a great introduction to Jacob Fatu. Loved Jacob taking out all of the faces on his own while Solo watched on grinning the entire time. Don't like there being only 3 real matches, but all 3 were rather enjoyable and worth a watch. Dug all of the segments thought he standouts were definitely the opening and closing. Jacob looked badass and dangerous. Not quite Umaga levels, but he was close. Really makes me curious how Hikuleo will fit into this whole story eventually. He is tall, but he isn't really the monster or mean mfers Jacob and Solo are. Good show. 2
