I dont know how they do it, and he is by no means classified as a workhorse, but I believe Karrion Kross is made for this stable, or atleast his previous "Killer" Kross character. His David Lynch-esq video packages blend well in the Wyatt Universe.
dokdoyle Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I just watched it again on a big screen, fully awake. I loved the Wyatt Sick6 and can't wait to see where it goes from here. It was my favorite parts of Bray; something you don't get instant gratification from, needing to see the whole story. Everything I thought it was going to be and more. 3
StuntmanCrowley Posted June 18 Posted June 18 As an unapologetic massive Bray fan, I'm extremely excited for this. I think it will be interesting to see how it gets pulled off with different minds behind a similar concept, but I don't doubt it will be given every chance to succeed and Bo Dallas will take extreme care of his brothers legacy. I don't understand people shitting all over this already personally, but that's just me. Like it was stated before, if anything, i hope this gives Rowan and Bo the catharsis they need at least and I actually hope Bliss gets brought in somewhere down the line. 3

Punk showing up at Smackdown only because it is in Chicago. although I assume they will do something about Punk and Wade Barrett since Wade said he should have been fired Been established that wrestlers can show up on other brands, though the GM's prefer for them to be invited or have it cleared with them. They're also generally thrown out if they interfere or get physically involved with wrestlers from the other brand.
odessasteps Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Digetically, it would be weird if you were banned from one show if you are booked on the other, given it’s the same company. Maybe if it was the era were they treated as separate brands.
Greggulator Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I just rewatched the segment. It was an over 5 minute single camera tracking shot. They are so fucking good at those. The slow pace of the camera and the single piano note and the anonymous bodies and carnage gave it such an awesome horror movie Blair Witch feel. I also love that there is a reason for the lights to turn out and the ominous sound since they hijacked the back area. A+ for the staging and blocking of something that is really hard to pull off. 7
The Natural Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I'm a Bray Wyatt fan from the cult leader of the Wyatt Family to the split personality of Wyatt as a children's TV presenter with his alter ego as The Fiend. Glad I was able to experience them at two house shows. Sucks Bray Wyatt passed so soon. Wyatt 6 came across creepy. It's moving seeing them pay tribute to Bray's legacy. 1

Between what they're doing and Pat's telestrator breakdowns it's the one thing I willfully show my wife who is getting a kick out of it all. I legitimately laughed out loud when Priest walked into the scene as Dom was taking the vest off Liv. 5
madl Posted June 18 Posted June 18 (edited) Gable got booked like he pee’d in someone’s bag or failed a wellness test. Weird. They seemed to be trying to build Otis as a massive babyface when he finally tuned on Chad, and then they did it in a really anticlimactic fashion. I’ll believe Gable is winning the MitB briefcase when I see it. Company really wants me to think Dom and Liv are hooking up or about to get together, so It’s probably someone else in Judgement Day, Finn? I hope they don’t swerve us for the sake of swerving us. Dom and Liv seem like they’d be a fun onscreen couple. Watched the Wyatt Sicks segment and, yep, I’m good for a couple years. Was never a fan of Bray’s and the spookier they get with the gimmicks, the less interested I am. We’re supposed to think the Wyatt’s murdered half the roste?. So I guess the next ppv will be filled with zombies. Meltzer thinks Jey is somehow aligned with the group. That… would be monumentally stupid considering how over he is. Edited June 18 by madl 2 1
EVA Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Gable is one of HHH’s guys from way back, so I’m certain he’ll be taken care of in the long run, but yeah his booking this past week has big “take the checks, take the losses” energy. 1
StuntmanCrowley Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I still don't understand why Gable lost at Clash at the Castle, and I like Sami a lot and have been enjoying him as IC champ
ChrisPBacon Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Im thinking we get Liv gassing Dominik up to believe he is the leader of Judgement Day or the glue and that the crew doesnt respect him, which causes Dom to get super cocky and cost Priest the title or something like that. All the while, Liv and Finn are actually aligned, sending Dom crawling back to Rhea for help as the JD implodes. The only thing about that is, I dont like the idea of Dom being cheered just yet.

StuntmanCrowley Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I think if they didn't do the anticlimatic Otis turn(unless there is more to it in the weeks ahead), there is money is a Otis/Gable feud over the title, while Bron can continue to be pushed towards the top of the card.
Craig H Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Lastly, I don’t begrudge Chad for taking the money. Dude has always seemed at risk for getting released after getting treated like a joke by Vince. He survived it all, is a regular on tv, and is getting paid.

Yeah, but Otis/Gable doesn't need the IC title to sell it. Bron needs a reason to go after Sami, and the IC belt is a pretty good reason. And if Gable ends up grabbing the case, Otis can be a constant thorn in his side. Or better yet, if Otis costs him the briefcase, then there's your SummerSlam opener. 2 1

blitzkrieg Posted June 18 Posted June 18 An inherent part of the story with Gable is that he's had multiple shots at the IC Title, lost, and continues to blame everyone except himself for those loses. So him winning the IC Title would stop that. Also as that the abuse of the AA ramps up with each failure, him winning the IC Title would stop that which is the biggest source of the reaction for Gable and Otis. The reaction when Otis finally really lays hands on Gable/has his first match with him are going be huge and don't need the IC Title. 1
Craig H Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Also, I think someone on Discord mentioned how it was a good move to give Bron an L now so he doesn’t have that unbeaten streak albatross around his neck. Although I’m slightly curious to see how HHH would handle that because Vince fucked it up every time. Other than what everyone has discussed my main problem with Raw is that it’s still too fucking long. I watch Raw like this: Watch the show opener, turn it off, check out YouTube for clips, and then be satisfied with the clip or go to the DVR recording to watch the match or segment in full. It’s just too much of a slog to watch. I’m hoping with the move to Netflix that HHH has the latitude to book the show for a minimum of 2 hours but no more than 2 1/2. I watch SD in much the same way. Overall, everything is way better, I like the simpler and semi-predictable storylines, I like how much edgier it has been, but the matches still feel very samey and stale on the whole because that’s the WWE house style. Actually, I think my biggest complaint is the announcing. SD is fine, but I can’t stand listening to Cole and Pat for at long.
