Not sure if this counts as talking about RAW as it is airing, or if we can talk about it now since it's much bigger than that, but....

Reigns just came out on RAW, relinquished the Universal Title, and revealed that he has Leukemia

I'd say real life issues take priority over storylines, but I'm not an admin. I'll leave it to Rippa.

Feel like that a lot of people are taking the safe position of (justifiable) moral outrage knowing full well it's going to be a ho-hum show that they can afford to miss.

If the show turns out to be this generations' Bash 89, pretty sure people are probably relaxing their reservations on it because it suddenly becomes a can't miss show.

Almost every one of those foreign Network shows have been glorified house shows with maybe 1 really fun match.    The last Saudi Arabia showed was remembered for Titus O'Neil sliding head first under the ring.

Now it is Brock vs Braun for the title at Crown Jewel.  So fucking pissed that Brock is going to get another 6 month reign showing up 2 or 3 times total and maybe the title a joke again

Have Drew get the first match but come up short (maybe because of some shenanigans or botched interference from Ziggler), then have him win the Rumble. Since someone from SD won the Rumble last year it's likely a Raw guy is going to take it this time, so this is as good of a choice as any. We get a Drew/Braun HOSSFIGHT~! at Mania with Drew finally getting the title.

Obviously this is a shitty situation that goes way beyond booking, but turning Braun looks like a bad idea now. I didn't think it was a good idea when they did it, but now...

He should've had the belt by now already.

"The Saudi show is very much in jeopardy" - Dave Meltzer on this morning's radio WON show.

Apparently Vince is getting pressure "from outside sources" to very much not do the show

Also - Dave said he knows that creative was told that John Cena wouldn't be on the show but he doesn't know why Cena was still advertised during RAW so he is unsure if things have changed.

Braun winning the title but then dropping it to Drew on RAW makes sense. A match with Lesnar is supposed to be a brutal affair so taking a match a few days afterwards would put you not at 100%, plus we've seen that the Claymore Kick can take the Monster down for three seconds. Drew chickenshit heels his way to retaining the belt against Braun, Braun has a Reigns-like performance at the Rumble and you can crown Braun at Mania and Braun will have his Mania moment that makes us forget he won the tag titles with a 10 year old kid at last year's Mania

Any chance they pivot and run the exact same card stateside? Cena might work that to juice sales in a pinch.

Otherwise, I expect they move the stuff that matters to the next PPV and pretend this never happened.

Get Darren Young back for John Cena!
