Brian Fowler Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I'm not devastated they fired Caldwell, but I'm not really onboard. He is, by record, the best coach the Lions have had in the Super Bowl era. They were literally am inch or two (or a really strange rule) away from being a playoff team. Given Detroit's history, I struggle to develop confidence they are going to improve on him. (And it's funny because I was PISSED when they hired him)
elizium Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Qualifications: Must be willing to sign free agents and fire Dom Capers. 1

elizium Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 New Qualifications: Must be willing to sign free agents and gently massage Aaron Rodgers' collar bone every night. 1 1

I just pray they hire someone with the balls to follow the IR rules to the letter and do the right thing... by releasing Aaron Rodgers. This will probably not happen. 1
Craig H Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Bears and Colts again moving on to different HCs... I'm guessing Jack Del Rio will wind up coaching the Colts. Or the Bears. Either way, it ain't good.

Ryan Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Cue hiring replacements from within with the same visions and nothing changing. 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Jimmy Graham is also apparently done in Seattle and will look elsewhere for a team that actively needs disappointing TE play. 1 1
sabremike Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Marvin Lewis may be staying after all. The only reason I don't 100% hate bringing him back is because of the unmitigated joy I experienced on Sunday.
Gonzo Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Marvin Lewis has compromising photographs of somebody. Has to.
Gonzo Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Also, Carson Palmer has officially announced his retirement from the NFL.

Ryan Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Tom Brady will turn to dust on the field from a lack of water in a few years. It turns out he's not a human being, that's why he needs all that water, it keeps him from desiccating and turning to ash.
Death From Above Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 So wait, are you suggesting Tom Brady is the Soul of Cinder from Dark Souls III? Because if he's an amalgamation of the powers of multiple dead football players, back in corporeal form to serve as the end boss, that explains a great deal. 1
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Lynch said his top priority is signing Jimmy to a longterm deal. You don't say?
