Zimbra Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Weird, that and the story below it weren't showing up for me and now they're back. Except for Lonnie Walker that is a good list of players who are Butt.

Imagine a Barstool one looking like a betting version of the Titled Kilt restaurants Maybe it'll die quick deaths like most of the Tilted Kilts end up doing.
RIPPA Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Spotify buying the Ringer is official And pretty much all the comments are shitting on him for not telling the Union so I can't stop laughing 2
Brian Fowler Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 So the reported number is $250 million for The Ringer. It's not known exactly how much of it Simmons owned, but he's there largest stakeholder. HBO owned 10% so it's nice little payday for Warner Media I guess

Two guys who are obviously really good friends bickering over sports. Sure, they were younger and smarter, but in the end it was just two guys discussing sports. I listened to the podcast every day, because I'm a fan of both of them, but it always felt like it needed something to set it apart.
username Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I liked High Noon but it really did never settle on much of an identity for itself. ...We broke up the Highly Questionable band for this too
hammerva Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 i mean basically every ESPN show that doesn't have actual sports or is SportsCenter is either a take off of PTI or the morning show. The only somewhat original weekly/daily show is E:60 and that was just a different version of the original Outside the Lines. Before that show because a PTI take off

There isn't nearly enough personality in color commentators these days. The reason Romo is so fun is that he projects the fact that he's having a good time.
odessasteps Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Will Michaels be traded for Oswald the Rabbit again?
Meltzing Pot Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Man, of all the people you could pick to be on your show to discuss the Coronavirus, picking pseudoscience king Malcolm Gladwell is a CHOICE. At that point if you're Bill Simmons, just have one of your college buddies on to discuss it. 1

Dolfan in NYC Posted March 13, 2020 Author Posted March 13, 2020 Only Jim Spanfeller could choose the time when basically all major sports are suspended or cancelled to restart a sports blog: Anyone who's saying they're on the new staff is being ratio'ed into powder. 3

I'm not going to lie, I had to look twice to see if this was something from the Onion.

Elsalvajeloco Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Just now, RIPPA said: This includes WWE Backstage I only noticed this because I went to watch Undisputed this morning which comes on 8:30 my time (9:30 eastern), and a replay of a NASCAR race was in that slot. I went to Google and it still had Undisputed airing, but the official Fox schedule had the NASCAR replay. Keep in mind, they (well at least Jenny Taft did, who BTW didn't know whether or not she would still be doing XFL this week...guess she knows now) said they would be doing an episode on Friday and kept reiterating the entire week they would still be around. I didn't see anything on the scroll from what I could tell. Then, I checked Twitter and got my answer. Something tells me they had one directive and then that directive changed very swiftly.
Brian Fowler Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 ESPN is apparently doing 11 hours of classic UFC Saturday
