No clue how Four Lions passed by my radar (probably due to that particular period in time in my life) but fuck I need to see it yesterday. How did they get away with that?!

You'll have that reaction repeat during the running time.

I think it was just small and British enough to escape the attention of mainstream America.  It’s really a remarkable comedy: simultaneously  dumb and brilliant st the same time.  Takes potshots a basically everyone: from radical Islam to the treatment of Muslims by non-Muslims.

Framing John Delorean

This technically is a documentary but I am putting it here because half the doc is reenactments with Alex Baldwin playing Delorean (along with Josh Charles and Morena Baccarin also being in it)

Just hit VOD this week

That Delorian almost disintegrating instantly on the crash test footage makes  the way the time machine splits apart in chunks in Back to The Future 3 look believable now.

Well, some scumbag has leaked the entire Detective Pikachu movie onto YouTube.    Please check it out before it gets taken down:

I noticed this the other day...I really want to believe Dolfan is in on the joke. I mean, I would hope so.

Hey, I figured as much.

To be fair, when I saw the video pop up in my suggested videos and saw the Ryan Reynolds watermark, I thought that maybe this would be something like Adult Swim showing all of the ATHF movie, but only in a microscopic size.

I don't know if this the right thread, but it feels like something weird is going on with Alita: Battle Angel. It is currently not available to pre-order digitally on VUDU, Amazon or Google Play, nor on physical media on Amazon (I didn't check anywhere else for either), no official release date has been announced for the digital or physical releases, despite the fact that movies released quite a bit more recently are either already out or will be this month.

I'm not sure if it has to do with the trademark lawsuit from January. But I can't remember a relatively big movie from a major studio not going up for pre-order within a week or so of the theatrical release date in years.

I just asked my friend who works at a Target said June 25th is scheduled to be the release day so the digital should be in a couple of weeks. They haven't received their copies yet and they usually get them 2-3 weeks before release and hold them in their stockroom

Watched Detective Pikachu with the family today.

I wanted to love this so bad, but outside of an interesting world concept and Ryan Reynolds...... nope.

Is The Highwaymen worth a watch on Netflix? Naturally dubious it'll be another straight to DVD shit show from them

It's very slow paced and about 20 minutes too long, but yeah it's decent. I'd give it a 7.5/10

I've gone to it three times and I'm only a half hour in.

Yeah I took the plunge in the end. What a needlessly long film! I'd like to think the monotony of it was a meta reflection of the monotony of the Texas Ranger's chase but I think I'd be giving the director too much credit there

Wick 3 is awesome. My favorite of the series. Gun porn, knife porn, dog porn, horse porn, Tuco homage porn. Perfection. Prepare thyself, J.T.

Finally announced. Digital 7/9, physical 7/24.

Incredibly long wait between theatrical and home release these days.
