Ligerbusa Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I don't know how to spoiler tag, but the prevalent theories from production leaks last year about Doomsday and how he gets involved were weird. Definitely a different take on Doomsday. That was Latino Review and it was quite some time ago so who knows. It's still from Latino Review, well, El Mayimbe and his new website. He brought up Doomsday again on a podcast which is why it's going around. Rather amazing spy footage here. Looks to be a flashback scene with Joker and Harley. http://batman-news.com/2015/05/17/joker-harley-quinn-argue-suicide-squad-set-video-car/
pipGofern Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 How funny would it be if the eventual JLA movie was an unstoppable monster named Doomsday rampaging through the country and the only way to stop him is *ahem* Earth's mightiest heroes have to band together to stop him? Actually, Zak Penn's script is probably still out there, it would only take about an hour to white out all the names and replace them with DC heroes...
APO Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Well, at least it'd involve the entire country and not just NYC. /shrugs
Dolfan in NYC Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Already want it to be next year. #30secondstomars 1
RIPPA Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 I really think Suicide Squad has the least secure movie set ever 1
Elsalvajeloco Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I really think Suicide Squad has the least secure movie set ever That may be just David Ayer. Fury had a ton of stuff out during filming. Plus, there were the stories about Shia LeBouf and then Scott Eastwood almost got into a fight w/ Shia and Brad Pitt.
EVA Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 There is so much I love about that Joker design. And yet...that forehead tattoo.
MonteCarl Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I honestly don't really like what I've seen at all of this Joker. But it doesn't matter what he looks like, really, as long as the performance from Leto is good.
Craig H Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 More rumors regarding BvS: Apparently Lex will be wearing the purple and green armor, while Doomsday is his muscle. I honestly have no idea what the fuck to believe at this point. My bullshit meter is starting to redline.
Brysynner Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Supposedly it was likened to Darth Vader being the muscle for Grand Moff Tarkin. So Doomsday is Vader and Luthor is Tarkin
ChesterCopperpot Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I really think Suicide Squad has the least secure movie set ever Agreed - this happened on the biggest street in the city yesterday afternoon - I'll spoiler the link as it mentions something going to happen in the movie. http://www.blogto.com/film/2015/05/suicide_squad_stages_massive_plane_crash_on_yonge_st/
The Unholy Dragon Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Suicide Squad has been filming across the street from my friend's place for a few days now. The novelty has since worn off for her since they're loudly shooting until all hours but I still think it's pretty cool.
ChesterCopperpot Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 So they were filming a car chase scene for Suicide Squad last night - SPOILER https://instagram.com/p/3Ih8qkFkO2/?taken-by=ernievicente Yes - that's the Batmobile 4
The Unholy Dragon Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Personally I like the still of it passing Zanzibar, the highest profile strip club in Toronto.
ChesterCopperpot Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Featured prominently in a scene for The Incredible Hulk as well
J.T. Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I really think Suicide Squad has the least secure movie set ever Probably on purpose. SS has gone from "Whateva" to "OMG MUST SEE~!" in like two weeks thanks to the "accidentally leaked" pics and whatnot. The security guards on the BvS set would do the movie a great service if they looked the other way once in a while.
Ligerbusa Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Well, now we've got... Batman on top of Joker's car And these weird Doctor Who looking villains were on set the other day. http://i.imgur.com/Ns0JoGA.jpg http://i.imgur.com/I23BRmd.jpg http://i.imgur.com/O5NjwFz.jpg
J.T. Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Featured prominently in a scene for The Incredible Hulk as well Yeah, kayfabe broken since the Hulk vs. Abomination fight took place in NYC but clearly had Toronto landmarks like Zanzibar in the footage.
The Z Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 God damnit, they're now remaking The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Who the fuck asked for that? Well, to be fair, in this case the remake could actually be better than the original, but still...
Elsalvajeloco Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Yeah, I don't think LXG falls under the category of DC movies.
The Z Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Not anymore I guess, but it did in 2003. There's no omnibus thread for Non-Marvel/Non-DC comic book movies, otherwise I would have put it there.
Elsalvajeloco Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Box Office Mojo doesn't even count the original as one, and they count the RED series.
