COLETTI Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Oh nice that's is getting non-rental release. I remember being pretty satisfied with the ending after all those years.
Technico Support Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 I’m late to the party but I’m really enjoying Mayor of Kingstown (not to be confused with Mare of Easttown, which is also great!) on Paramount +. For a wrestling tie-in, Erik Rowan is in a few episodes 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Here's a sentence I never thought I'd type... The writers of Sesame Street have voted unanimously to go on strike. Picketing could begin as soon as tomorrow.
Casey Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 I’ve been binging the Blacklist on Netflix, up to S9 already. Boy, they really drag out the Liz/Red story as far as they can, over the shark, and then a little bit further huh? This S8 finale is just a huge info dump, likely because it’s Megan Boone’s last episode I believe. Still fun stuff though, and a real treat to see James Spader just hamming it up and being fucking awesome every episode. Sidenote, but the Tom story was ended too soon, and Liz/Ressler doesn’t feel earned at all the few times it does happen. Samara being shuttered away a few seasons ago SUCKED, too. Aram is just so whiny now, and that’s horrible because he was one of my favorite characters.
The Natural Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 (edited) Channel surfing a few days ago to find Comedy Central Extra was showing Daria and Lucky Strike (S5, Ep6) was on, one of the best ever episodes. Next week, it starts all over again with season one. I only watched Daria a decade or more after it first began on MTV thanks to the Viva channel which has since closed. The Viva channel never showed the films but I found them online. Comedy Central Extra do air the films, the second to last is on as I post this. Daria is one of my favourite shows. odessasteps Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 Me TV is staring their own cartoon channel. https://twitter.com/cartoonbrew/status/1786110364268257519?t=Qpq4ooocrNXP4O4PhGR3xg&s=19
Curt McGirt Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 Dammit. I still don't get Me TV on Dish, and miss my Svengoolie so much. We probably won't get this either. Hopefully this is better than Boomerang, in any case.

odessasteps Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 So powerful was the CBS Sunday night line up, this show was in the top ten one year as a mid season replacement. 1

I don’t know if there are shows from that NBC Thursday era that were in the top 10/20 show: was that show with Jason Bateman on Thursdays? Joey bombed but that’s like a decade later.

It’s Your Move starring Jason Bateman was on Wednesdays at 9:30 after Facts of Life, it was cancelled in early 1985 so it wasn’t getting any kind of ratings. There was a show Grand that got a 15 rating purely by getting the golden timeslot on Thursday nights between Cheers and LA Law, I don’t remeber it at all and like most of America I was watching NBC from 8 to 9:30 on Thursdays, used to watch it from 8 to 10 but they moved Night Court to Wednesdays a few years before.

J.H. Posted May 7, 2024 Posted May 7, 2024 So Everbody's In LA is kind of like Mulaney doing Carson as written by Hunter S. Thompson I love it James
Curt McGirt Posted May 7, 2024 Posted May 7, 2024 (edited) Well @Andrew POE! here's your chance for the Uncut Gems soundtrack performer haha https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oneohtrix_Point_Never He even cites Dick as a musical influence so it's not like he's far from what they would want...
