DouglasC
I guess I'll have to be satisfied with and 8-8 season. . .FUCK. . .I hate this damn game. . . That's what it means to be a Bills fan. Have them get your hopes up with some early wins, only for all of them to splatter on the jagged rocks below the steepest cliff imaginable. I wouldn't have it any other way. Dewar
Miami won the AFC East the year Brady got hurt and Favre played for the Jets.
Craig H
I think that was the strange year of Brady's ACL tear where the 12-4 Patriots didn't make it in, but Miami did.
Craig H
Dewar beat me to it. Anyway, that was also a Sparano coached team, wasn't it?
johnnyboy
I think that was the strange year of Brady's ACL tear where the 12-4 Patriots didn't make it in, but Miami did. Miami and New England both finished 11-5, but New England didn't get the division or wild-card place on tiebreakers. Edit, almost forgot: Fuck Brett Favre for that.
Dewar
New England lost at home to Miami by 25 points. They can blame themselves for not winning the division.
johnnyboy
The clinching game saw the Dolphins take on the Jets who had Brett in with an arm so putrid and gangrenous that he could barely throw the ball. The consecutive starts streak meant more to him than the Patriots chances of making the post-season
ebbie
I doubted Miami for a second, but then I realized it was Miami and made it a life's mission of doubt. Also: Good lord, I hope this is real. It's an Asian baby too! I guess I'll have to be satisfied with and 8-8 season. . .FUCK. . .I hate this damn game. . . Don't worry, I predict another 8-8 run from Miami. Imagine if Phil had the fire to win every week. But still better than Used to be Fat Tony. He seemed to forget the hometown would like to see their team win in Miami every once in a while.
Hail Sabin
Hopefully tomorrow bad Sanchez will show up or the Green Bay defense will play like they did against the Bears.
Craig H
I need good Sanchez to show up. If it makes a difference, I hope the Eagles D stays at home and it's a total shoutout with Green Bay winning.

hammerva
The idea that the Lions vs Cardinals game is for the best record in the NFC is just mind blowing to me. Nobody could have predicted that Man it looks miserable in Chicago and I am not talking about the team
Brian Fowler
I take a perverse amount of pleasure that the "8-1 vs. 7-2 battle for first place in the NFC and at least a tie for best record in the league" game is only getting regional coverage. hammerva
Look at all those empty seats in Fed Ex. Just wait till the later home games this year I saw a picture on twitter and it really looks like more people are trying to get in the stadium then actually in the stadium. There is a reason why it is considered one of the worst experiences in the NFL
