I'm trying to think of a better venue for Eddie vs Claudio where there would be a very real feeling that there may be a riot if Eddie loses. Arthur Ashe ain't it. Maybe the Hammerstein Ballroom?

I don't want to be the guy but it's a choice to do five big singles matches for Dynamite and then a bunch of crazy tags for Rampage.

Right now Rampage is looking like:

• Sting/Darby vs Luchasaurus/Christian, and we know that won't stay in the ring.
• Mogul Embassy vs Hung Bucks for the ROH Titles (I'll hate if after a year of defending against all comers, they give the belts to the Elite to serve a different story; I'd really like to see Top Flight/Andretti or some team that had been working up win it).
• HOOK/Cassidy/Statlander vs Menard/Parker/Anna Jay (Just announced)
• Acclaimed vs Dark Order for the AEW Titles

Hook as the member of Best Friends that's always chilling in a corner and Chucky or Trent is like, hey kid, you wanna fight, and then Hook nods seems like a good fit for him.

Also, the craziness that the "weakest" match might be Pinnacle vs Dark Order and even that thing is probably going to be fun as hell.

I'm usually not a "if this person doesn't win, I'm gonna be so pissed!" kind of person, but man, I really don't want to see Eddie lose tonight.

You think Dark Order might get the belts tonight? It feels like a possibility. They've been given more time and a heel turn, might be a good moment to switch it up, give Acclaimed someone to legit feud with instead of a revolving door of people to trash on the mic and beat.

I'd really like to see a Dark Order win, but I feel like it's too soon after the debut of the scissor belts for Acclaimed to lost them. Wouldn't mind the match setting off a feud between DO and Acclaimed, though.

So rather than a TBS title match, we get a mixed tag (the f'ng worst things). Sigh.

My hope here specifically is that they are doing this to film a couple of really impressive spots where Statlander hits Friday Night Fever on Menard or press slams Parker, etc., that they can use in promo packages forever.

Prepare to be disappointed because he isn't beating Claudio until Final Battle in front of a few hundred people at that casino in Vegas or the college arena in Baltimore and a couple of thousand viewers on PPV.

Max Caster said last year that he was completely tapped on material to diss the Dark Order with, having faced them so often on Dark and Elevation.
