Dewar
Jays trade Aaron Loup to the Phillies, and John Axford looks like he is going to the Dodgers. Chester Copperpot and I will be in the bullpen for the rest of the season.
Craig H
Brandon Kintzler to the Cubs. Not sure what the Cubs offered in trade. I'm happier with this than the Cubs trading for Ziegler.
Contentious C
Kevin Gausman to the Braves, and every O's trade should be further detailed by pointing out they still owe Chris Davis another $92M.

This Is a Karl Pilklington level idea where I really don't know if it's brilliant, stark raving mad or so stark raving mad that it's brilliant. Rule 5.02(a): Quote The catcher shall station himself directly back of the plate. He may leave his position at any time to catch a pitch or make a play except that when the batter is being given an intentional base on balls, the catcher must stand with both feet within the lines of the catcher’s box until the ball leaves the pitcher’s hand. PENALTY: Balk.

Infinit
Great seeing the Bucs going in on a playoff spot...Archer should do great leaving the AL East and joining Ray Searage's staff. Hopefully the fans get onboard and start filling up PNC.

Well the game would also be ridiculous if there was no catcher.

Contentious C
Good to see a couple of new people taking up the mantles of RIPPA and kenyabaxter from the video game threads. Well played, Chester. And the O's got rid of Johnathan Schoop, who is 26 and was still under team control for next year. Did someone convince the Angelos family that Major League was a how-to video instead of a work of fiction? Is Chris Davis going to give up Jesus and find Jobu? Are they going to go out to Russell St. and pay heroin addicts $20 and a hot dog to play infield? Are they trying to have Buck Showalter pull a Howard Beale? hammerva
EDIT: Or what the last couple people already posted. Now Jose Reyes is pitching which is weird. At the rate it is going we might hit 25 runs Double EDIT: Let me bump that to 30 runs since it is now 24-1. I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants or Jets get that next week. Too much. EDIT 2 - 3 R HR from Jackson!! NYM on the comeback trail!!
sabremike
The Mets should've literally traded everyone on their roster except Nimmo and Conforto for as many high end prospects as possible. Almost all the position players on the team are significantly north of 30 and the farm system is the laughingstock of the entire league, DeGrom and Thor aren't going to be able to paper over those Grand Canyon sized cracks. Burn this decrepit and diseased beyond repair foundation to the ground and rebuild. But the Wilponzis don't have the balls to do that so nothing will change. The only dumber team was the Nats for not trading a guy they are 100% losing after this season for what would almost certainly be a great return when they are fringe contenders at best.
