PetrolCB Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Was it true that they hired Gowen by mistake, confusing him with another one-legged wrestler?
Cristobal Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Gowen was the one they meant to sign. Johnny Ace, in one of his more infamous front office fuck-ups, offered a WWE contract to a different one-legged wrestler (one who was 37, unlike the 19 year-old Gowen).
PetrolCB Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Ahh, okay. I knew there was something strange surrounding that signing. Be it him or somebody else.
James F'n X Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Is there a GIF of Brock showing Gowan down a flight of stairs?

Lazlo Woodbine Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I made some gifs from British Pathe newsreel type stuff on youtube 3

goc Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Hey guys you remember all that "Undertaker vs Shane is the match I'm most excited for at Mania" talk? Hahahah

He said he was working with Gowan and Gowan comes up to him with ideas for the match. He (Gowan) starts describing things in video game terms and said something like, "ok, since I've filled up my special meter and your stamina is low, I'll dropkick you and bump you off the apron". Show looks at this one legged kid and goes, "ok, go ahead and fill up your special meter and we'll see what happens." 2
Technico Support Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Is it possible to have too much bridge on a German suplex? Sources say yes 2

Technico Support Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I dunno man. I'll allow the "land on your forehead on a bridge" part but his feet clearly go out before he sticks it.
Spritenaut 32 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Anyone know if that kid was ok? I'd be more worried about damage to his neck than I would about the possible concussion.
