RIPPA Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 Well the DC media is reporting that Callahan to the Skins is a done deal EDIT - he is to be the OL coach.
glfpunk Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 That's a good pickup for them. He didn't want to be in Dallas after they took the playcalling away from him.
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Giants made all the right moves. Niners have made..... moves... Yeah, I think I could use a little Eddie DeBartolo in my life. Not this punk ass poser.
Craig H Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 John Fox will be the Bears next HC. I am a fan of this.
BobbyWhioux Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Also Looks like Marc Trestman will be brought in as OC for the Niners per Sources The Greg Roman of today replaced by the Greg Roman of 20 Years Ago. Great.
Craig H Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I'm sad you guys will be deprived of crazy Marc Trestman's press conferences. Looking back, those were about the best thing about his tenure in Chicago.
glfpunk Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I can't believe that guy can get a job in the league. Was hired as an offensive minded head coach, proved to not be a good head coach and by the way, an offense that has Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffrey, and Matt Forte ranked in the bottom half of the league in every category. On top of being one of the most penalized teams in the league.
Craig H Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 That offense was clicking in 2013. All of a sudden in 2014, the schemes changed. Just constant check downs and slants. It went from one of the best offenses in the league to the worst. It's funny watching a lot of Bears fans pin that all on Cutler.
ChesterCopperpot Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Here's what Joe Robbie Stadium, Pro Player Park, Pro Player Stadium, Dolphins Stadium, Dolphin Stadium, Land Shark Stadium, Sun Life Stadium will look like after the renovations
Dolfan in NYC Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Thanks Jeff Loria, since you built that $500 million sinkhole in Little Havana, and subsequently screwing over the fans by selling the best players for pennies on the dollar, the Dolphins won't get a new stadium until the 2030's. Grr... Fu... Raccoon eating cotton candy.
Vincey Greene Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Thanks Jeff Loria, since you built that $500 million sinkhole in Little Havana, and subsequently screwing over the fans by selling the best players for pennies on the dollar, the Dolphins won't get a new stadium until the 2030's. Grr... Fu... Raccoon eating cotton candy. The rendering looks nice? Sorry buddy. On the plus side, football is way better on TV. At least here. My couch > surrounded by Jets and Giants fans.
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 What is John Fox's playoff record with Manning and then without him?
RIPPA Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Doug Marrone scheduled an interview with the Broncos and then decided to cancel it as he wants to see if they are hiring Gary Kubiak first.
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Looked it up. 5-3 with Carolina including a Super Bowl appearance. 1-1 with Tebow. 2-3 with Manning including a Super Bowl appearance but twice knocked out in the first game @ home. No way to spin it other than a disaster with Manning and Peyton has to take some of the blame.
hammerva Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 So I heard that there was an interview/press conference with new Niners head coach Jim Tomsula and man if first impressions are key then this team is going to be interesting. Safe to say he might be the anti-Harbaugh in terms of communications? http://deadspin.com/new-49ers-coach-jim-tomsula-mumbles-and-huffs-his-way-t-1680004518
Josh Mann Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Looked it up. 5-3 with Carolina including a Super Bowl appearance. 1-1 with Tebow. 2-3 with Manning including a Super Bowl appearance but twice knocked out in the first game @ home. No way to spin it other than a disaster with Manning and Peyton has to take some of the blame. You have to also factor in the fact that he cajoled the Giants' defense to a Super Bowl in 2000. We forget because they got run over by a better team at the end, but his defense DOMINATED two very good offenses in the playoffs that year.
Kuetsar Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Doug Marrone scheduled an interview with the Broncos and then decided to cancel it as he wants to see if they are hiring Gary Kubiak first. Talk about a guy who overplayed his hand. . .though $4 mil lessons the sting I'd guess. . .
RIPPA Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Gary Kubiak will be getting the Broncos job The Falcons plan on hiring Dan Quinn but have to wait to make the announcement (Both Jay Glazer and Ian Rappaport are reporting that one)
glfpunk Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I'd like to welcome any Seattle Seahawks fans to the thread. 1
elizium Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I'd like to welcome any Seattle Seahawks fans to the thread. Dude, please don't jinx this for me. Seattle has an annoying habit of never being out of any game.
glfpunk Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I jinxed it. This game is an abomination. They should just put the Cowboys in the super bowl, both these teams are terrible.
