FireThunder
David Diehl sounds like Rowdy Roddy Piper. Oh and Antonio Gates is still amazing after all these years.
Dewar
Two dudes grab each others facemasks. One removes the others helmet. Let's give only one penalty, and give it to the guy without his helmet. Stellar officiating job in Green Bay today. Geno Smith and the Green Bay turf aren't getting along today. Hopefully now that the Jets are losing, they will stop with the shitty conservative playcalling.

pipGofern
Even with the Seattle loss, I still think they're the best team in the league. Seattle just learned what every Super Bowl champion learns: when you're the champs, every team looks at knocking you off as a personal mission and plays you like it's a playoff game. Niners Fan in CT
Oh so that's how you beat Seattle. Let Sherman sit on one side of the field and pepper the other side all game.
Death From Above
Who wants to bet me that Phillip Rivers will have another kid born nine months from today, give or take one week?
FireThunder
How you beat Seattle: wear their defense down in 120 degree heat. I'm glad that the offense smoothed out their issues from the first game, but the Chargers need to play like this every week to have a shot at the postseason. Dewar
Fucking Jets manage to cost themselves a game tying touchdown by calling their last timeout from the sidelines. I hate football. SO MUCH. EDIT: Only the head coach is allowed to call timeout from the sidelines. The refs in Green Bay sure have sucked a massive bag of dick today. Cole Miner
Classic Jets right there. Would figure if it was Mornhinweg and he wasn't supposed to be able to do that.
Sublime
Morningweig better hope the Jets pull this out or he's gonna have to get his resume ready (not that it's that spectacular).

pipGofern
I love that the Tampa game had an hour lightning delay and is still going to finish before GB-NY. On another note, if I was in charge of the NFL, instead of banning celebrations, the first rule I'd enact is an automatic penalty for any receiver who begs for a flag after an incomplete pass. These guys want a flag on literally every pass break up.
Dewar
Fuck football. Fuck shitty ass football refs. Fuck Marty Moronweig. The only good thing about today is that New England is still technically last place in the AFC East.
elizium
Marty Mornhinweg! During a week where I'm likely going to go 0 and 3 in fantasy and forgot to do my Ham picks, I'm still going to end it with a smile. Thanks fella.
EVA
Big up to my dude Austin Davis for winning his first NFL start with the Rams. Suffered through a lot of shit with that organization, including getting cut, to get to this point. He may never win another one, but I'm glad he got this moment. It's so embarrassing!
hammerva
Wow that is such a bullshit call onTampa Bay. Lee Evans is obviously hurt and trying to get out of the field and yet because he needed to be assisted they call it an injury timeout.
