RIPPA Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 The most enjoyable thing is reading my Twitter timeline and seeing all the Skins fans fighting with each other over whether they should have been rooting for the Cowboys or not.
just drew Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Started the Falcons D this week. Was counting on the Ram's shittasticness to trump theirs. I like it.
Dolfan in NYC Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 Reports of Mr. Tannehill's demise are premature http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18262832/miami-dolphins-qb-ryan-tannehill-acl-mcl-sprains-left-knee Sprains, not tears. No surgery, only out a couple of games.
johnnyboy Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 I went and bought my son a Dak Prescott jersey for Christmas. I can't help but apologise to Dak for the thorough jinxing that I gave him.

Was listening to Tiki & Tierney earlier, and wanted to slug Tierney in the larynx when he was all 'Romo has to be considered' tripe.
Gonzo Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 The Rams have fired Jeff Fisher. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. The Rams have fired Jeff Fisher. 4

RIPPA Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 What I am deeply amused about is that they are playing the Thursday game. I mean it would it really have mattered if they had waited 4 more days and canned him after losing to the Seahawks? Stan Kroenke everyone!

Did he sign his extension? If they fired him after giving him two extra years of pay, they are even dumber than they were for hiring him in the first damn place. 1
Dewar Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Fuck Stan Kroenke and all of his sports teams. Not for firing Fisher, but for being Stan Kroenke. 1
just drew Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Any truth to the rumor he found out he was fired between 7-9 this morning? 9
Elsalvajeloco Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Just now, just drew said: Any truth to the rumor he found out he was fired between 7-9 this morning? I am so pissed they didn't let him try to win out. 2
RIPPA Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Okay - since I am just killing some time I was looking One would assume the candidates to flex into the Week 17 Sunday Night game are (The league won't pick until after Week 16 ends) NYG vs. WFC Texans vs. Titans GB vs. Detroit Oakland vs. Denver Clearly their order of preference would be 1) Giants/Skins 2) Pack/Lions 3) Raiders/Broncos 4) any other game besides a "Who Wins the AFC South" 5) Browns going for 0-16 6) Texans/Titans
Dewar Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Is the league allowed to flex Cincinnati/Houston out of primetime on Christmas eve? TB/New Orleans or Indy/Oakland could work out as better primetime games.
Dolfan in NYC Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 Strangely, Dolphins-Pats may be on that list too. Miami could be fighting for its first playoff spot in nearly a decade and NE would be a rather big hurdle for them to climb, if necessary. I mean, I'm sure it's going to be NY/Washington or Denver/Oakland, but weirder things...

Tweaking my response since I thought Cincy/Houston was already on Christmas Day No - because I assure you they already know they will get shit ratings on Christmas Eve so might as well punt it with two bad teams (And then you get into the whole issues of moving teams around on a holiday)

He was so close to turning the corner with that team. Thoughts and prayers for Jeff Fisher. I may have to buy some beer tonight for this occasion.
Kuetsar Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 I'm just mad Rex wasn't the first coach canned this year. . . .
Brian Fowler Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 At the risk of Dean banning me, this Cowboys/Giants thing reminds me of that year Jacksonville went 14-2 and got to the AFC title game, but lost to Tennessee 3 times. I can even see Zeke sitting at his locker saying he still believes they were better than NYG. Jeff Fisher has lived off being a bad matchup for Jax for a decade and a half.
RIPPA Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 I doubt the Giants and Cowboys are going to meet again. Mainly because I see them fucking up and still not making it OR getting crushed by like Atlanta
Niners Fan in CT Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Merry Christmas Rams fans. Long overdue.
SirFozzie Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Pats special teams are special tonight, and I don't mean "special" special.. I mean SPECIAL special.
hammerva Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Well I love seeing the Ravens losing their 1st place spot getting smoked against the Pats. Now excuse I need to take one of those Ace Ventura Crying Game showers now
SirFozzie Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Someone fire Jones. Preferably out of a nuclear powered cannon. Nearly cost us earlier, and did this time.
