E3 2014.

Recommended Posts

I have a friend who's a very active member of the Smash Brothers community. He's going to E3 to commentate the invitational tournament for the new game, and was a huge part of the movement to get Melee into Evolution, so keep an eye out.

As for me, I want info on FF15, MGSV Phantom Pain, and hoping against hope for news on a Type-0 localization.

I can't wait to play Secret E3 Game. I dunno, just based on the amount of coverage it's getting, it MUST be great.

Thing is, its not a secret game for E3.  It's literally an E3 game.  But sadly it's just an upgrade to "Electronic Game Convention Mogul '12"

But it does feature a few new modes:

- "Insult your customers for max high Crash totals mode" is pretty arcady and depends on how many tweets you can get turned into Dark Knight or Hitler Gifs by angry AI

- Backtrack mode is a deep sim that can go on for years

- Get your Kinect to work during your live press conference challenge mode

There's also a hidden "be a booth babe" mode.  The code is still in there, but they made it inaccessible because it was just that depressing.

Still holding out irrartional hope for new Red Dead Redemption.

I suspect there will at least be two tech demos released to tease any tweaks that R* has planned for the game engine for GTA 6, so the next RDR and Max Payne games can't be too far off.

Holy shit. I forgot all about Evil Within.

Already played the E3 demo, it was pretty intense.  Dialogue was terrible though.  Atmosphere and setting are terrific though.  Mechanics are a lot like RE4.

Fuck. I also want to see the gameplay footage for The Division.  I have a feeling that ME4, The Division, and Destiny will be the new obsessions for Team Leeroy Jenkins once we all have new gen consoles.  I expect that should happen around 2020..

Bite the bullet on PS4, and we will be playing Destiny come December.

It might be the most I have anticipated a game in awhile.

He posted in this very thread a couple of weeks ago.

Plus he posted in the Fuck You Thread a couple of days ago.

Maybe you accidentally ignored him?

Even though Destiny looks like Borderlands but really serious, I think it'll be really great. And you know there's going to be a Destiny 2 & 3 in the next five years.

There will also be spaceships albeit ones that serve as plot devices rather than actual functioning star cruisers..  I prefer to think of Destiny as Star Wars Galaxies that is actually fun rather than Borderlands but really serious.
