The irony of Ringside News posting that, when they went on a transphobic rant earlier this week (that same day?) about Nyla Rose winning the Women’s title.

It's not irony. It's deflection and desperation.

Christian revealed in an interview that he's the one who brought the Carpool Karaoke idea to AEW. One of the people who runs the show (Eric Pankowski) is a friend of his who used to be a WWE writer and expressed interested to Christian in having some AEW stars on the show.

The Natural, I love ya dude, but giving Ringside News attention like this was not necessary. They've been doing this gotcha shit for years, and that's with their owner acting like an absolute scumbag.

Also, it's pretty clear where all this garbage is coming from. Not to mention, Ringside trying to deflect their own transgressions from earlier this week.

I'm not making excuses, but those old PWG shows are full of some pretty "offensive" and politically incorrect material. AJ Styles used to use a derogatory slur toward the LGBTQ community on the regular in the aughts. I'm not making excuses for AJ Styles, but those things happened. And I'm sure a lot of people on this forum are well aware they happened and saw him do it.

Good article. Dax and Punk watching back the Punk-Cena Raw match sounds like a good time. And to the surprise of nobody, of course Punk has the clout to say "Fuck it, you and I are gonna wrestle tonight" and then make it happen.

"F--- buyrates and million-dollar gates and everything," Punk said. "That's what this s--- is about. What's the best part? The best part is making these new relationships and showing guys what a lot of guys never showed me but should have: to not be a d--- to these kids who just want to be pro wrestlers."

Damn straight.

Between the beer and the cinnamon roll centers, Takeshita is gonna look more like Takeshi Morishima by the time his excursion is done.

I fail to see the problem...

I wrote and deleted many introspective paragraphs and will sum it up as this: Why am I so un-excited for a pay per view featuring so many great match-ups and my favourite wrestler in the main event? Somethings not clicking.

I was excited until this past week reminded me that we live in hell. I’m still going to order it and let it unfold in front of me, and I hope to have a good time, but I’m not counting on it.

If he makes it more than 3 days in Vegas and isn't sick of it, he might not ever come back ?

Speaking of MJF, he’s apparently refusing to do a meet and greet and is at the casino instead. People who paid for the M&G can either get a refund or choose another person.

Work or shoot? I’ve seen people speculating about both.

Love that he’s one of the only guys where I’m now plausibility at the point of “well I wouldn’t put it past him.”

Let’s just look at this hypothetically, as a thought experiment.

Wardlow really needs to beat MJF. It’s the hottest story in the company and he’s the biggest, most over rising star.

Let’s say MJF is gone.

You’re Tony Khan.

What do you do?

Wardlow wins on a forfeit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tony addresses the crowd. Declares it a win by forfeit and awards Wardlow a contract. As a make good, Wardlow vs Miro right there on the spot.
