MGFanJay Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 This show had more recaps than SD and Main Event combined. 6-man tag was pretty good, although I was very distracted by the commentary. Libertarian Kane's debut ruled. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/11/raw-11-4-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/3ng00yz9w7hbxiagf1p3emiqywzpg7jj
Raziel Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I think I'd like The Authority more if everyone weren't just Trip's lackeys and if I actually liked Orton.
bink_winkleman Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Holy fuck, what an awful show. Highs were the six man and the opener. Think it might be time to quit watching again when I'm more interested in the Wallace McCown showdown. This Show/Orton/Corporate thing is unwatchable. 2
The Green Meanie Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Libertarian Kane's debut ruled. Beat me to it with that comment. Also, I'll be forever happy if JBL keeps calling everyone perro gringos from now on.
Ramsey Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 So, Orton/Show/HHH? Thus ends my three month Shield/Bryan fueled renewed interest in the WWE. Bring back Shamus and my disinterest will be complete.
Niners Fan in CT Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 libertarian Kane was at least funny... Rest of the show sucked balls. Actually, the highlight was Renee Young for many reasons. 1
Brian Fowler Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Kane in a suit. I can't help it, I love The Authority.
Rehabilitated Rick Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Big Show at least carries himself like a main eventer unlike Bryan. And this is all leading to GLASS SHATTERS, multiple stunners and a beer bash, so may it continue.
Niners Fan in CT Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Why didn't I think of "Citizen Kane"?
MGFanJay Posted November 5, 2013 Author Posted November 5, 2013 libertarian Kane was at least funny... Rest of the show sucked balls. Actually, the highlight was Renee Young for many reasons. Emerald earrings FTW! 1
Jiji Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Y'all hating. That six-man tag was even better than the one on Smackdown and the next stage of the Wyatts vs. Punk/Bryan was good. Also, Ryback vs. Hornswoggle. "I bet you he ate the cake." And we got Kane in a suit.
Brian Fowler Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 libertarian Kane was at least funny... Rest of the show sucked balls. Actually, the highlight was Renee Young for many reasons. Emerald earrings FTW! I will now assume this is her celebrating the anniversaries of The Wizard of Oz and Wicked.
Brian Fowler Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Also, Show and HHH were both really great in that segment. 1
piranesi Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Kane's tiny clip-on tie was adorable and obviously the same one he wore for his first communion. Flipping back and forth between this and BotNS...I couldn't take much of this. Every time I flipped over it was a HHH/Steph interview, sketch, deposition, phone-call, blahblahblahblah.
bink_winkleman Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I hated Kane with no mask the first time around, not amused with the suit. Bryan/Punk and the Wyatts looks interesting, but not enough to carry the rest of this. HHH and Show make Cena seem so young and fresh and interesting. Hell, they make Josh McCown and Seneca Wallace seem so young and fresh and interesting.
Reed Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Libertarian Kane will be great. "Do you know how much internet sale taxes are when something's getting delivered to Hell? It's a travesty!" 4
Beech27 Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Big Show at least carries himself like a main eventer unlike Bryan. Up until the point where his shirt came open, then off, and his pants started to fall down, maybe. Then he just looked like a (very tall, but still) flabby dude with his underwear sticking out. 2
Ligerbusa Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I wanted to bring Kane in like this when they aired those mask vignettes a few years ago. He gets to do something different, pretty cool.

Baring in mind he wasn't in his ring gear, fighting a 3 man unit that has beaten everybody and the champion of the company, I think he looked great. Way better than Bryan throwing indie-kicks and those weak ass forearms.
APO Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 The 6-man was fantastic, Orton/Langston was pretty good in it's own right, and Bryan/Punk vs. the Wyatts looks like it could be interesting. Libertarian Kane made me laugh at least. Everything else was skippable.
Cristobal Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Big Show at least is booked like a main eventer unlike Bryan. Fixed. 2
Gonzalez Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I don't if anyone noticed this but during the Punk Vs. Harper match there was a new(at least to my eyes) ring apron camera reminiscent of the old WCW ring apron camera.
MGFanJay Posted November 5, 2013 Author Posted November 5, 2013 Big Show at least is booked like a main eventer unlike Bryan. Fixed. Come on now - I'm sure on Raw, Hunter will just talk about how Show's underwear was showing, that his clothes were splitting, and that he had a gut.
