piranesi Posted October 28, 2013 Author Posted October 28, 2013 FUCKING MOTHERURJKJTIING CHRISNTNSKMAS COMEROIALS!!!!!!!
cool arrow Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Dude, it's only October. You need to pace yourself.
piranesi Posted October 28, 2013 Author Posted October 28, 2013 Every time I have to see that robot detective show commercial during the Worls Series I lose five minutes worth of ability to struggle for life. It's not like they didn't already try this before:
Joe Lucia Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 The Sprint spots with James Earl Jones and Malcolm McDowell are amusing. Why, here's one now: http://youtu.be/bxw5aprXK4M I love these. So good.
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Dang, what did poor Greg do to get friend-blocked?
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 He's a Viking now. You're cold-blooded. I like that! 1
sydneybrown Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Every time I have to see that robot detective show commercial during the Worls Series I lose five minutes worth of ability to struggle for life. It's not like they didn't already try this before: #1. Every TV/Movie/Podcast/Form of Entertainment is copied in some form from somewhere else. #2. Literally 100 people on this planet are probably aware that both Holmes & Yoyo and Almost Human both existed and exist as TV shows. You and I are one of the lucky few. Of all the legit carbon copies of the hundreds of shows (with shows copying each other airing simultaneously), you throw a fit because a drama about a robot and a human is similar to a sitcom about a robot and a human that aired 35 years ago? #3 Did you lose your shit too because American Idol was so similar to Major Bowes' Original Amateur Hour from the 1940s?
piranesi Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 Way better than the tie-in with THE HITCHER they were considering.
Burgundy LaRue Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Has Van Damme won the war of the 1980s movie action heroes, in terms of life in general? Stallone and Schwarzenegger have more money, but are clearly shells of themselves. Segal has been a joke for years. JCVD is clearly in better shape than all of them, and seems to be more honest about being imperfect. For some reason, it feels like he made it to the other side more intact than the other three. Great commercial. I've watched at least a dozen times now.
Death From Above Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 http://youtu.be/LtT9jDd_UGQ I busted out laughing when I saw this for the first time tonight.
Gonzalez Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Holy shit, what a great commercial. Beautifully shot, funny, and heartwarming(In a nostalgia sense at least). That commercial has it all. Should have saved it for the Super Bowl, though.
RandomAct Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Amazing. The bit with Craig Sager was easily the best.
The Man Known as Dan Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Gotta admit, I only check on this thread every time it's posted in to see if we have any updates in Piransei's Wendys Girl theory now. The commercials are good (especially the Van Damme excellence), but that is the true magic of this thread.
Ryan Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I saw an ad last night for Duck Dynasty Chia pets, so I think I want to cry now.
Jerry Hattrick Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 There's nothing wrong with some Duck Dynasty chia pets. All it takes is a pot and some Si'd.
JRGoldman Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Those stuffed crust pizza commercials that are essentially mini bios on douchebags are the absolute worst. They make me hate people.
muhammedboehm Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Can someone explain to me how the McDonalds dollar menu starts with an item that costs TWO dollars?
RandomAct Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 It's a dollar menu, they just don't specify how many dollars. 1
Death From Above Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 The Integer Menu just didn't do as well in focus groups. 2
stiffshots Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 The Ford "'And' Is Better Than 'Or'" commercials - dear God, kill them with fire.
