Rose also at least had his own "talk show". That rates better than just "had a title match"

And the correct answer now that I look at Rosebud pictures is Bull Dempsey

If we're talking about Kruger too, he wins out over Gotch, although there may be an argument for peak NXT tag title champs > FCW champ.  Regardless, Bull Dempsey is definitely the answer.

Well, unlike Rose and Dempsey, at least Gotch has a job still, so he still has a shot however likely that may be.

It's more that he focuses exclusively on Japan and while I get Japan internationally is probably the greatest source of wrestling, dude hails anything Japanese as the greatest thing ever while being seeming ambivalent to anything else. It's weird how wrestling outside of America, Mexico, Japan and the UK aren't really known but you'd figure as the number 1 source for all things wrestling, he'd be able to follow that. But nope, Dave seems obsessed with Japan since nearly 60 of his 5 star matches have came from Japanese promotions. I'm saying that I am not at all surprised that Dave knew what Io Shirai would not join the WWE because he follows Japanese wrestling closely.
