CG characters in a massive battle with CG characters. Took me right out of the movie. Probably irrational but what can ya do? Odd, I was pretty lukewarm about IM2 up until they gave Whiplash the Grade A superhero brawl that the Iron Monger should've gotten in the first IM movie. I did enjoy that part, but then it turned into Animated Iron Man and Animated War Machine vs Army of Animated Robot Drones (venue: a computer) and it just killed all my enjoyment. If I want to watch a straight up cartoon, I'll stay home and watch G.I. Joe reruns. Knowing is half the battle.

TheVileOne
Eh, they are just two different characters. Just sort of an example that Film doesn't doesn't really know what TV is doing and vice versa.

J.T.
Time To Pretend by MGMT is a great song and the music sounds oddly appropriate for the trailer, but I honestly believe that no exec listens to the lyrics of the songs they decide to use. It's Iggy Pop's Lust For Life being used in cruise ship ads all over again.
The Unholy Dragon
You mean Peter isn't going to move to Paris, shoot some heroin, and fuck with the stars? I'm partial to Kids anyway.
The Natural
Spider-Man in the MCU was worth the wait debuting in Captain America: Civil War for Tom Holland's performance, how he looks in/out of the suit and the writing.

J.T.
Everyone seems to be playing the straight man for either Drax or Baby Groot, not that I am complaining. More importantly, we know that so far, Awesome Mix Vol 2 consists of: - Fox on the Run by The Sweet. - The Chain by Fleetwood Mac - Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell (the first song Peter plays before the outro for the first movie.).

John from Cincinnati
In all honesty, I suspect at least three quarters of this board's userbase has a BAFTA nomination. It's about as significant as being senior vice president of a major financial institution.
