2015-16 NFL Playoffs: Divisonal Weekend

So, that all happened. Everyone seemed to not want to win or do anything right past a certain point, go figure. I'm sure Rodgers will be blamed for blown coverage on Fitgerald somehow tomorrow. Meanwhile our WR corps was a guy who couldn't stay on the Giants, two guys who probably don't make most practice squads and whatever is left at Tight End. We'll get them next year!

Imagine if we hadn't dropped even one of those close interceptions. Now imagine we had Nelson, Cobb and Montgomery all healthy and playing. Yeah, we probably win.

Just watched it and man that was crazy. Rodgers is actually inhuman, no doubt about it. On that Hail Mary he was falling back and getting smacked yet still threw it forty yards into the right place.

Fitzgerald must have though that all his Christmases had come at once to find himself that open and then the cheeky shovel pass for the win. Far more entertaining than the Patriots-Chiefs for a neutral.

Carolina's the only team I'd like to win tonight. Somehow I'd like both the Steelers and Broncos to lose.

I can't decide if this should go in the stupidity thread or not...

Rodgers is miffed he didn’t get a second call of toss

The fact that the Cardinals won both the non-flip and the flip (since the Packers called tails) should have made it a no-harm, no-foul curiosity. But it’s not that clean and tidy; the Packers think they should have had a chance to change their mind on the call.

“Clete had it on heads,” quarterback Aaron Rodgers said after the game, via Jason Wilde and Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com. “He was showing heads, so I called tails, and it didn’t flip. It just tossed up in the air and did not turn over at all. It landed in the ground. So we obviously thought that was not right.

“He picked the coin up and flipped it to tails, and then he flipped it without giving me a chance to make a recall there. It was confusing. . . . “I think he was trying to avoid the embarrassment of what just happened. He flipped it quickly.”

Rodgers claims he would have called heads if given a chance to call it again.

Um...he knows that it's a 50/50 chance, right?

Oh Rodgers. I like you, but don't be silly.
