odessasteps Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 The Charlotte pod was pretty good. It is funny how many of Rics vocal mannerisms she has.
odessasteps Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I dont know what the truth quotient is, but the pod with Smith Hart was fascinating.
davekool666 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 The Woods and Rhodes was classic. Fave of them all so far. Blue Meanie was pretty good too.
Charlie M. Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Daniels and Kazarian were fun too especially Daniels' impression of LIger and what Gedo thought the Ring General gimmick was.
Johnny Sorrow Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I guess Daniels and Kazarian don't care for Homicide much. When they mentioned LAX they said it was "Hernandez and some guy" on a tone where they clearly knew who it was and weren't going to acknowledge him.
bazzil Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I liked the recent Lawler interview. Vaguely remeber most of the stories from his interview with Austin a while back but still a fun listen.

No, they mentioned Homicide earlier in the podcast. The "some guy" they didn't name was Anarquia, Hernandez's partner in Mexican America (or whatever it was called).
mattdangerously Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I actually had to go on Hernandez's Wiki page to double check that they weren't talking about Chavo Jr, so it's understandable how no one remembers Anarquia exists.
Rev Ray Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 I caught up on a few: - I love the fact that Curry Man's speaking voice is based on Lyger. - The Gallows and Anderson episode has Gallows giving his side of the Cliff Compton in Nigeria story, so it sort of fills in a little bit of the parts with Gallows that Cliff didn't experience.
PetrolCB Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Incredibly awesome interview with Lenny St. Claire this week. He should be a monthly guest. Like how Austin has Ted Fowler on a lot. Except, you know, Jericho and Lenny are a metric fuck ton more hillarious.
Charlie M. Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Newest Flair pod is excellent. Jericho went in trying to touch on some different subjects, get into Ric's mindset as the traveling champ, talked about Puerto Rico, Japan, Kansas City, St. Louis, North Korea, etc. It's fun to listen to Flair putting over guys like Carlos Colon, Haku, Tenryu, Fujinami, Hase, etc. He was a little down on Jumbo because Jumbo kept dropping him on his head. He talked about how the guys didn't want to sell for him or want him to sell so much. The Brody/Hansen stuff was interesting because people often complain about how little those guys sold but according to Ric, that's what the promoters and the Japanese wrestlers wanted them to do. Once Brody sold for Ric, it was easier for Ric to get the Japanese wrestlers to sell for him.
odessasteps Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 I hope Dave or someone fact checks some of his stories.
BurningBeard Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 once more, my take away from this episode is 'never cross Harley Race' 1

BEN! Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 "We've worked there a few times, South Korea though." Not even close to the same thing, Jericho. Flair seemed to be on his best behavior until the midgets then he loosened up. "Getmelaidgetmelaidgetmelaid." "Metoometoometoo."
Charlie M. Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Brian Gewirtz had lots of great stories. Seems like a nice guy and somehow still sane after spending all those years working for WWE. 1
Ultimo Necro Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Gerwitz wrestlers court story is fantastic, as is his Saturn impersonation. Really good episode.
Brysynner Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 So Nancy Benoit's sister is the scheduled guest for Friday's show covering the Benoit murders/suicide. Should be an interesting podcast

PetrolCB Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Really good episode with Nancy's sister Sandra. Interesting to hear about all of this from a non-wrestler perspective.
Charlie M. Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 It was certainly interesting. A lot of insight and I think she came off remarkably level headed when talking about something so difficult. It definitely gets dark when she talks about how he changed towards the end and some of the details of the murders.
