Was at the show last night, semi-good crowd but definitely night and day to Philly. I am still standing by the idea that they could have done Rumble anywhere else in the world and wouldn't have had the blowback on Reigns. Reigns was over HUGE with a lot of the crowd and the kids didn't really care too much for Bryan. Because I'm going to Mania, Bryan/Lesnar and Rollins/Reigns seems like a better match list that I want to see but judging from this crowd, I feel like from crowd response, Reigns definitely felt more like "the guy" tonight to the future generation.

Rollins mic not working and Rusev's flag getting stuck made for some good moments but now I think I know why they don't come to Denver much, something always happens lol. Anyways, I'll be at Smackdown! in the Springs tonight so I'll just the Bryan and Reigns comparison there too but Bryan was definitely cooled off all through the show until the end and even then it wasn't as big a pop as Reigns was I felt.

No way will Bryan/Rollins be WWE MOTY due to the Rumble triple threat, but it should at least get an honorable mention.  It was really great.  I'm hoping Bryan is around long enough to work with some of the NXT guys, in particular the indy darlings of the bunch.  It never gets old seeing guys like them main event Raw and think back to where they were.  You can knock the no-sell of the top-rope rana, but it is quite the norm so I let it slide.  And HHH is right, Reigns gets different reactions and it was good he did what he did in Denver instead of Conneticut.  If he can cut the bullshit he might have a decent chance for WM.  Or just do a triple threat, either way works for me.

I'm not really a D-Bry fan.  I enjoyed his heel run, basically neutral on his babyface character.  Him getting the Tim Tebow reaction from fans where everything else gets crapped on if he doesn't win kinda makes me wish he wasn't on my tv.

That said, programming him vs. Roman at Fast Lane is about the only thing that could get me interested in the show.  It's really curious booking if they still plan on going with the Reigns megapush.  Fans are going to hate Reigns if he wins the match.  Unless Brock lays out both guys and they do a three-way at Mania.

Cindy left the room at the start of the show, walked in 20 minutes later to see the SAME FUCKING SEGMENT in the ring and gave me an eye-roll you could hear two zip codes away. "Doesn't anyone fucking wrestle on this show?"

If you have a guy you're desperately trying to build up for Mania, WHY ARE YOU JOBBING HIM TO THE BIG SHOW???

But holy bats that spear at the end. Reigns went into orbit like a missile and Show took it like a champ. If only he could hit it like that every time out.

If Reigns does beat Bryan at FastLane does this mean that the only people Bryan has beat in big time matches are Hunter and Batista?

He beat Cena at Summerslam '13.

Yup I'm an idiot, how I forgot that one I don't know.

So big time wins: Cena/Hunter/Batista/Marrying Brie Bella

Big time losses: Sheamus/Reigns

That spear made me cringe because Roman really hit it head first. Hope he didnt hurt himself.  It made for an amazing visual though.

I hated the first hour of this show.  Soooo much talking to set up two matches.  Everything else was pretty good though and that main event was killer.

Last week they had me sold on Reigns/Lesnar.  This week swung me back to Bryan.  Maybe they will do the three way.  I just dont know anymore.

That may have just been that crowd. Every kid I've talked to (I work with kids) LOVES Bryan. The "Yes" can't comes out every week on "ice cream fridays"...

Kids here are jumping around throwing superman punches at each other...then going YES! after they land the punch.

In conclusion...don't trust kids.

I was at the show and I have to disagree on the Bryan pop compared to Reigns.  After that last match the crowd was going crazy and it really is an eye opener to see how over he really is.  Reigns got booed in spots and cheered in others.  The spear on the Big Show at the end being the biggest one he got all night.

God, that opening segment really made Bryan come off like a complete weasel trying to goad Roman into taking the Authority's set-up. Honestly can't blame him for being all surly when Bryan goes to talk to him later on.

If you'll all allow me a moment to fantasy book, I'd have had triple h come out and reveal that Big Show and Kane were sent out to ensure Roman Reigns won the Rumble, thereby keeping Bryan away from the WWE Title picture. Have the Authority trying to get Reigns to join them in the following weeks, with him steadfastly refusing. Maybe keep the heat on the authority, rather than Reigns, for the perception of Bryan being held down...

He beat Orton nearly every time. The story was that Bryan had Orton's number and Orton couldn't beat Bryan. May as well add Mark Henry to the list as well.

I don't consider the Orton matches "big" time matches. It's weird to say a match for the belt isn't a big match but I never got into the idea that it was a big time match like his match with Cena was and his matches at WM30. Also when the Big Gold belt wasn't held by Batista, Hunter or Cena it was pretty much a secondary belt

Yes, because MOAR HEAT ON THE AUTHORITY will make everything better. That kind of booking is why they're unbearable to begin with.

Well it was clearly either about the porn, leftover issues from their past relationship, or both.

Yeah, God forbid HHH honor his marriage and refuse to discuss his relationship with a former lover.

Goddamn, Rusev can wave a flag like nobody's business.  Has anyone in the business (or in any business) ever waved a flag so well, and so furiously?  He totally puts Hacksaw Jim Duggan to shame.

I thought it was totally awesome that Rusev just went with the equipment malfunction and stayed in character.  There should've been back slaps and a phat bonus check waiting for him in the back.

IDK. Heat where its supposed to be is better than heat where it isn't supposed to be, i would think...

* On Raw, Reigns gives a FVCK YOU, I'MA GET MINE promo, turning him heel, Reigns aligns w/ the Authority (let's roll with the nepotism angle)

* Rollins comes out, screaming about how he's supposed to be the Authority's #1 guy

* HHH says "Reigns is best for business" and kicks Rollins out of the Authority

* Reigns whups up on Rollins

* The Authority announce the dawn of the Roman Empire

* Bryan and Rollins agree to work together to bring down Reigns and the Authority
