Dank Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Just as I was getting into Impact again, my cable company Suddenlink, dropped all the Viacom channels Appropriate cable company name. 1
greenbat Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I just had a thought about two months or whatever ago when they finished the NY tapings, everyone was so optimistic about the direction, the madhouse of the extreme, now look at it, LOOK AT IT!
MGFanJay Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Or don't. It's not a pretty sight. It's like a car crash, minus the excitement - so more like a slow 5 MPH collision that somehow leaves tons of damage in its wake.
EN090 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 So much cleverness going on, honestly, its like we have a bunch of professional comedians on here. 1
Cristobal Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 There's several guys on the board who've done stand-up, some current and ex-rasslers who may well have done comedy, Ramsey-on-the-radio, etc.

Spontaneous Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 So much cleverness going on, honestly, its like we have a bunch of professional comedians on here.Nah, it's not like we write ImpactIn my defense, sorry
greenbat Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 So much cleverness going on, honestly, its like we have a bunch of professional comedians on here. Look out guys! The fun police is here! 1
Patrick B. Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Open-mics, been paid to do comedy a handful of times, nothing to write home about. I try to avoid easy targets.
Ace Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Ion is allegedly the third channel that TNA is negotiating with, along with WGN America and Velocity.
MGFanJay Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Well, Meltzer mentioned them as a possibility on WOR yesterday. I like that option as it exposes them to a broadcast TV audience, but if WWE couldn't stay on the channel long, I don't like TNA's chances.
OSJ Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Just a bit of stand up back in the day, but I try to avoid easy targets like TNA.
Buy Me a Burrito Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 So much cleverness going on, honestly, its like we have a bunch of professional comedians on here. DIXIE DESERVES BETTER
nate Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Making fun of TNA isn't like shooting fish in a barrel; that's looking at fish in a barrel.
ExcellenceofAirPollution Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Well, Meltzer mentioned them as a possibility on WOR yesterday. I like that option as it exposes them to a broadcast TV audience, but if WWE couldn't stay on the channel long, I don't like TNA's chances. Main Event drew the best ratings of anything on ION, but cost/benefit it wasn't worth it to them. I don't recall the exact numbers but they were paying WWE a lot per episode, not making it back selling advertising, and it didn't have a noticeable effect on drawing people to their other programming TNA is going to come a lot cheaper, and they have their built in audience which watches them no matter what. I think they'd do ratings comparable to what Main Event did
odessasteps Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 For a second, i thought this meant Dave was on Channel 9.
Spritenaut 32 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Making fun of TNA isn't like shooting fish in a barrel; that's looking at fish in a barrel. You could make an argument that the viewer is the fish in the barrel and TNA has the rifle...
MGFanJay Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 But they can't afford a bullet, or the raw materials to make one, so we're just stuck suffering and waiting to die. 1
nate Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 And god knows they aren't even competent enough to try stabbing *with* the gun. And Dixie keeps shooting herself in the foot.
greenbat Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 And god knows they aren't even competent enough to try stabbing *with* the gun. And Dixie keeps shooting herself in the foot. Somewhere there's a reference of the cow from "Me, Myself and Irene" in there.
cool arrow Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 And god knows they aren't even competent enough to try stabbing *with* the gun. They'd just throw it, like in the Superman show from the 50's. I've never understood why Superman would always duck when they threw the gun at him. 2
