MGFanJay Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 This show had some lulls, and LOLZ, but man was Hogan great and the Taker-Brock stuff ruled. Everything that needed to work, aside from everything involving Bray-Cena and Roman-Bray match, worked. Cesaro and Big E over-delivered as well - looking forward to Cesaro's ascent up the card continuing. WM's gonna be fun with Taker and Brock on it. The rest of the main events are going to be interesting though since they aren't as rock-solid. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2014/02/raw-2-24-14.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/jqremn1npqg0jc15lcep2q4jelfxujsd
The Man Known as Dan Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 That crowd was fucking horrid almost all night. 5
Matt D Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Dean Ambrose is like that guy from West Side Story. You know. With the jacket and the snapping. Either way, American Hero. 7
cool arrow Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Once again, giving Hulk Hogan a hot mic on live television provides a couple Botchamania moments. 1
Big Fresh Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Ambrose saving the day was fucking awesome. I wish we heard his explanation for last night though. 1
Web Conn Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Hogans promo to open up Raw almost got Genesis of McGillicutty levels of absurd
Stevie Ray Von Erich Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 The bare minimum of what I expected to happen tonight happened. The wrestling was all good, the crowd was terrible, and I am still underwhelmed by Wrestlemania 30. Curious about Cena's leg, though. I'm thinking quad?
E.J. Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I can't wait till Hogan calls Daniel Bryan one of the best X-Division wrestlers he's seen in the past 25 years. Also, if this show was the big rewrite, I'd like to know what the original plans were. 1
Overly Critical Man Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Dean Ambrose looking like Domino was the highlight of the night for me.
Matt D Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Ambrose saving the day was fucking awesome. I wish we heard his explanation for last night though. He was with Maria.
Big Fresh Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I have that post show from the Network on now. It does make Raw seem like a bigger deal than normal. But I doubt that'll last long week-after-week. I guess this is the end of Post-Raw dark matches though...
MGFanJay Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Some great post-show shots of Taker.
Cobra Commander Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Dean Ambrose is like that guy from West Side Story. You know. With the jacket and the snapping. Either way, American Hero. Wyatts/Shield is the new Sharks/Jets, only without love involved
Ryan Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 That crowd was fucking horrid almost all night. Go Green Bay! 1
hammerva Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 They are still selling the pen in the arm of Brock's hand on the post game show as he is still in the ring. Well they were until they showed him walking out of the ring with nothing on his hand JBL must have been on special gimmicks before the show between his obsession with Winnie the Pooh and just spending the entire Bryan match just playing the corporate kiss ass.
Ryan Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I'm still depressed about HHH vs. Bryan Wait til HHH wins clean.
cool arrow Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 So next week is in Chicago, right? What's the over/under on Punk coming back?
NintendoLogic Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 After tonight, I'm worried that they're going to drop the ball with Roman Reigns. He shouldn't be working long matches where he spends most of the time selling, at least not yet. He should be straight-up mauling dudes. Also, was Bray's arm bleeding? Did he pull a Kerry Von Erich? As for Bryan, my greatest fear is that we're going to get the HHH special where he goes over at Mania and does the return job at the next PPV where it means far less.
Hollywood Cibernetico Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Did Hogan have a "WWE Universe" quota? It sounds like someone (Stephanie? ) told him all of the WWE corporate buzzwords and had Hogan promise that he wouldn't miss any.
Cristobal Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 They are still selling the pen in the arm of Brock's hand on the post game show as he is still in the ring. Albeit they've got the pen positioned so it looks like it's sticking out of the palm of his hand.
Ryan Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Dean Ambrose is like that guy from West Side Story. You know. With the jacket and the snapping. Either way, American Hero. Wyatts/Shield is the new Sharks/Jets, only without love involved Who are you to deny the love between Rowan and Rollins?
