So did Jim Irsay fall off the wagon, is he insane, or both?

"The Tragedy of Hitting a Triple in Life" would be a good name for a satire of his ilk.  I'd think people would want to punch him in the nose, except doing that would make his gin-blossom-mushroom of a schnoz look better, not worse.

fondly remembering that running gag we used to have hear about reading Jim Irsay statements aloud in the Macho Man Randy Savage voice and enjoying how apropos it sounded

is this the most important Lions Thanksgiving day game in decades?

I know this is probably a jinx but is Jordan Love getting good?

Just a reminder that the Lions have only beaten teams with losing records and a hungover KC squad.

Nah its just the Waxing Gibbous causing them to lose, no matter how good the Lions are they can't escape the moon.

"Best offensive line in the NFL" - yeah, right. Detroit isn't blocking anyone today. At all.

Last chance for Detroit to get back in it:

- late hit out of bounds not called (yes, Greg Olsen, his right foot was in bounds. Now try looking at his LEFT foot)

- 3rd & 5, let's throw the ball four yards behind the line and not block at all

- 4th & 7, let's just not block anybody OR get anybody open

Good grief. Such a piss poor effort in all phases.

Sounds like Jerry and Jimmy are back on speaking terms.  Jimmy's going in the Cowboy ring of honor

Tony Romo getting steamed up about Dolly Parton in her cheerleader outfit may be the highlight for non Dallas fans in the 2nd half

To be fair, everyone is getting steamed up about Dolly in that outfit.

I’d consider Ron Rivera a good coach, good meaning good, not great or perfect. This will probably be his worst year when it’s over. Meanwhile it will have been over in a longer time than it took for other guys out of his mold to reach the end. If you think of all those mean defensive coaches who did well in bad situations at first, they didn’t last this many years and some of them didn’t even get a 2nd chance.

He's only had 3 winning seasons out of 13.  And again, those were the prime MVP Cam years.

His record outside of those 3 seasons is 64-87-2.

So without a superhuman-level MVP, he's shit.

Dax and a couple players eating the turkey leg with about 6 minutes left on the sidelines is next disrespect.

cue the "HE WAS TRYING TO THROW IT OUT OF BOUNDS" excuse

is 38-10 enough for Commanders fans to be optimistic that firings are about to happen

On nationwide TV?  Maybe.  The problem is, again, who would be interim?  And then there's the various PR issues that could arise with Bienemy being on the staff and either being named interim and then being let go at the end of the season or being passed over as the interim.
