hammerva Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Why the hell would the Vikings call a timeout? Just stupid coaching
hammerva Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Clearly not a catch. How bad must you be when you hear the phrase "their first win in the United States"
pipGofern Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Greg Jennings losing his shit over Frazier's comical use of time outs was amusing. Edit: But they held on 3 shots from the 4 so maybe he knew what he was doing
RIPPA Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 WHOO-HOO!!!! I WON'T MOCK THE VIKINGS FOR AT LEAST LIKE 72 HOURS! SUCK IT RACIST TEAM NAME!!!!
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Hahahaha they're gonna win enough games to keep the out of a decent QB pick!
The Erotic Terrorist Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 From what I've seen, there's been plenty of stupid coaching during the entire Leslie Frazier tenure. The Vikings are real lucky they didn't blow this game. Amongst all the controversial things being brought up in this thread, at least Incognito allegedly sexually harassing a female employee at a golf club is more cut and dry. It is a lot harder to defend that. What an ogre he is.
jaedmc Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Fuck. I picked Minny to win originally but thought I was reaching too much for points.
BobbyWhioux Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Greg Jennings losing his shit over Frazier's comical use of time outs was amusing.Edit: But they held on 3 shots from the 4 so maybe he knew what he was doing Trent Green on the ESPN radio broadcast, simply and sublimely hissed "WHAT?" incredulously after the second one. Curious as it was, it worked out.
Elsalvajeloco Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I love the fact that Skip and SAS keep saying the Redskins are going on a run like last year. I don't think any team losing to a 1-7 Vikings team with a three man QB rotation portends to anything positive. A team with such an inconsistent offense and just a godawful defense ain't going 6-1 the rest of the way. Especially with a QB believing he is fucking Bruce Willis from Unbreakable. 1
Niners Fan in CT Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I'm sure there were people who were against a 5-man pitching rotation in baseball. A 3-man QB rotation is so 2013.
Death From Above Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 That game was pretty much the definition of two teams trying to see who will suck less. It was close (so both fanbases no doubt enjoyed it) but had nothing else going for it.
Jrag Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I'm sure there were people who were against a 5-man pitching rotation in baseball. A 3-man QB rotation is so 2013. Philly needs to draft Johnny Football to round out their QB rotation. Also, I would totally mark out for that.
Craig H Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Man...Johnny Football in Philly would be amazing. Would Philly love him because he's the biggest heel in college football, or would they hate him because, well, they're Philly?
Ryan Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I've read that there's football games this week. I don't buy it. RIPPA and I will be watching figure skating on NBC.
Raziel Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Man...Johnny Football in Philly would be amazing. Would Philly love him because he's the biggest heel in college football, or would they hate him because, well, they're Philly? We would be all in love with him. Philly loves heels, so he'd be a natural fit. Then after 3 seasons if he doesn't deliver, we turn on him viciously and run him out of town.
Death From Above Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Thing is, I see Johnny in Philly as win-win. Either they make him some sort of local viking king, or they turn on him and Johnny being Johnny he goes on TV and cuts a promo about how he doesn't think that highly of them either. Works both ways.
BobbyWhioux Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 8 seconds in and I do believe Rippa already hates football. That fumble couldn't have landed in the Raiders' hands any better if the return man had actually thrown a pass to him. 1st and goal on the 5, now lets watch the Raiders turn this into a field goal. Which Janikowski might well even miss because he's apparently playing with cracked ribs.
JRGoldman Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Philly doesn't really have self awareness, like, at all. They would boo Johnny the first time he throws an insane interception.
RIPPA Posted November 10, 2013 Author Posted November 10, 2013 Rams gets a strip sack and Howie's kid gets the TD
Raziel Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Rothlesburger plans to ask to be traded after the season? Then goes and throws a pick.
odessasteps Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I already regret starting Pryor over Cutler in fantasy.
