Death From Above Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 "How bout them Cowboys WOOOOO" "Boooooooo" Not gonna lie, it's nice to have fans 1
hammerva Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Jets now on the board. Well you know it won't be a QB. So I guess it is Mac Jones to the Pats barring another trade
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Jets fans not knowing any other cheers other than spelling their name is simultaneously infuriating and fills me with pity. 3
dogwelder Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Thank god all the big QB names are off the board now for WFT
Kevin Wilson Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 I'm not sold on Mac yet, drafting a QB early can be a blessing or a curse and its too early to know which one he'll be. So I'm not mad at NE getting him, it could hamper them as much as help them depending on how it goes.
RIPPA Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 “Inconsistent hands” Well he is gonna fit right in with the Giants then 2
Infinit Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Barring a trade, it looks like the Steelers are getting an RB. Etienne or Harris??
hammerva Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Fuck yeah. Now let's hope they use him and we don't still plan to throw 50 times a game 1
EVA Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Fortunately he is very good at catching the ball, too! 2
hammerva Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 And the other top RB goes next and should be familiar with the QB
Death From Above Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 I don't deny that the Packers need some help at CB but I'm still kinda numb that Rodgers wants out tbh, it feels like everything is in a holding pattern until that clears up one way or another. I don't know enough about college ball to really have any other opinion on this guy.
cubbymark Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 As a Bears fan, I am glad they didn’t draft Mac Jones. However, they most certainly overpaid for Justin Fields. Roger’s promos for mental health and fighting hunger felt so insincere.

johnnyboy Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 I feel Mac Jones is a riskier pick for BB's legacy than for Jones himself. If he doesn't pan out the "this is who you draft to replace Brady?!?!?" narrative will be huge. Also, all of these defensive backs entering the league as the sons of players who I'm sure only finished playing yesterday makes me feel incredibly old.

The year-old posts I sleep on because I wasn't tagged. (Context here.) In my defense, I never said Lageman was a bust - he turned out fine and it's a shame he had to retire early. All I said was that in the moment we were pissed because you had far sexier picks like Rison, Atwater, Oliver, Wayne Martin, Hart Lee Dykes (who was a far bigger bust, albeit through no fault of his own) etc still on the board. Those 80's drafts at the Marriott inevitably turned into "blood for the blood god" moments as we were all packed in like sardines and begging for that one transformational pick that never quite panned out for the Jets.
RIPPA Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Rams GM Les Snead has tested positive for COVID and it working the draft virtually Both he and Sean McVay were already sorta isolating since they had been in contact with someone who was positive. McVay has so far tested negative. Snead had had one dose of the vaccine but hadn't received his second yet so sadly we are deprived of the NFL Network lying and saying FULLY VACCINATED DRAFT ROOM~! for the Rams
