Reed
*You never, ever hit a child in the face *You never, ever hit a child out of anger Rules that shouldn't have to be spelled out, yet must be. Of course. But let's look at this: -the kid was attacking people with a bat. -he also attacked the guy, leading to THE SLAP~! -the kid was absolutely fine and not hurt at all. Now should an outraged parent give Spock a piece of their mind? Absolutely. Cut him out of your social circle and stop talking to him? Sure. But getting the cops involved, getting the lawyers involved and suing the guy and fucking up everyone's lives....it's too far. Not to mention, you're screwing up your kid a million times worse. Yeah, a slap is not going to scar a child. Dragging them through a lengthy court case and upending their lives on the other hand....

Reed
I would slap a child possessed by Pazuzu. I make no apologies for this.
Spritenaut 32
I would never hit a child, even if he was possessed by an evil demonic entity. I am, however, really ok with standing a safe distance away and lighting his or her ass up with a flamethrower.
Death From Above
"I try to bring them up the right way, not spanking them. I find that I don't have to spank them. I find that waving the gun around pretty much gets the same job done." - Denis Leary

RandomAct
Anyone still watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine? Clean and funny fun. I was trying to catch up on it, until On Demand yanked the first season down. So while I'm interested in the show, I have no way to catch up on it. Hail Sabin
I have watched every episode of Brooklyn 99 and it's one of my favorite shows. As for catching up if you have Comcast they do a catch up week or two on demand several times a year where you can catch up for free thus find new favorite shows. Reed
https://uk.yahoo.com/movies/channel-5-angers-family-of-robin-williams-with-111166977016.html?cmp=ukfb Channel 5 plans new documentary programme about Robin Williams' last days featuring a look-a-like porn actor. Goes without saying this is totally classless, but I've never gotten the point of these autopsy shows where it's 100% clear how the person died and there's no mystery there. JFK or Tupac? OK, it's ghoulish but I see the argument. Stuff like this is just asinine though.
Lazlo Woodbine
Classless describes most of what Channel 5 puts on. Let's see what's on right now - The 10 faces of Michael Jackson.
Curt McGirt
Is that the "last 24 hours of..." show that Current (now Al Jazeera) was showing? Hate to admit it, but I watched every single one of those and they were fascinating. Especially the Marvin Gaye one.
Reed
I watched one they did about Brittany Murphy. In fairness, they did do a decent of disproving the conspiracy theories and proving it was a natural death. Like I said, it's not so bad if there are questions about someone met their end. I can see why the family are pissed here, though. You've got a look-a-like who'll be pretty much acting out their father's/husband's gruesome final moments to prove...eh, something everyone knew already.
