Pete Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 MAPS Some brutal brutal games this week Can't believe the Chiefs didn't sell out. They were automatic for decades.
RIPPA Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 They did sell out. Since the game is on Fox (due to the Rams being the road team) - CBS can't show a game opposite it in the home market If you look at the FOX map - you see the game is airing in both St Louis and KC

Josh Mann Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 To be fair, if they flew Delta from Baltimore to London, it probably WOULD stop in Atlanta first. 1
evilwaldo Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Plus - the having a GLARING need for a pass rusherExcept he's too small to rush the passer as a lineman and too slow to do it as a linebacker, which is why he dropped in the draft to begin with. That's one of the reasons Sam dropped in the draft. I like that Sam suddenly dropped four rounds in the draft because the NFL teams simultaneously noticed he was too small. EDIT: Also, that four-round drop was BEFORE the combines. It's almost as if all 32 teams had the same premonition that he would be too small to make it in the NFL. Or, you know... too gay. You have to remember that people who post online mocks are people who know very, very little about the draft. Even the supposed experts are lame when it comes to draft knowledge. Supposedly Johnny Football was the top pick and Bortles was nowhere to be found in December. When people actually talked to scouts and sources it suddenly changed. Sam never fell, he was in the 7th round in the eyes of people who actually do the leg work.
Death From Above Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Zach Mettenberger is the new Titans starting QB Congrats to this dude that I've never heard of before I wish him well.
Gonzo Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 This man is a starting NFL quarterback this week: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand. . .go! 1
Craig H Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 This man is a starting NFL quarterback this week: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand. . .go! Oh that is just...That is just a delight. Is he cosplaying as Rust Cohle or is dirtbag in his genes?

Here's a pre-combine profile that goes into exactly why Michael Sam was a late round prospect. One didn't need to see the combine speed/size issues to know the guy wasn't a first rounder, even before he said he was gay. Michael Sam pre-combine report
GojiColin Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) Now with less Geographical errors and sadly less exploding heads then Gonzo's post it's time for the latest version of... Top of The Bottom: The Quest for the Goodell! I'm not going to lie everything changes this week, just check out these rankings! 1) 0-6 Oakland 2) 1-6 Jacksonville 3) 1-6 New York Intramural Football Jets 4) 1-5 Tampa 5) 2-5 Tennessee 6) 2-5 Minnesota 7) 2-5 Washington 8) 2-5 Atlanta 9) 2-4 New Orleans 10) 2-4 St. Louis Ladies and gentlemen, when it comes to the Goodell, there can be only one. And for the first time this season we have a definitive leader. Congratulations Raiders fans, your team sits alone atop the pile! But with a spread of 1.5 games between first and fourth Oakland will have to stay dedicated to falling asleep at the wheel in order to maintain their position. The Titans start a new QB this week, time will tell how this will affect their spot on the list, but seeing as how he looks like Joey Ryan's lost brother, I'm thinking their spot on this list is secure. At this point I sort of feel like the Jets are the dark-horse of the list, especially if that crazy-ass Manziel trade that was floated on the radio turns out to be true. Nothing says the Goodell Trophy like Johnny Effing Football! Will Jacksonville get back on form? Will Oakland finally remember what victory tastes like? Will the 2008 Detroit Lions get to pop the champagne and remain the only 0-16 team in the NFL? Will I have goofed up on something in this post? TUNE IN NEXT WEEK TO FIND OUT! Edited to not slander Gonzo. Edited October 24, 2014 by GojiColin 3
Niners Fan in CT Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 We need more hippie QBs in this league. Love it.
Jerry Hattrick Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Now with less Geographical errors and sadly less exploding heads then Gonzalez's post... Poor Gonzo
Death From Above Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 That photo gives me hope for my own future.
APO Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 This man is a starting NFL quarterback this week: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand. . .go! Mettenberger looking like a real-life Joe Dirt is the best. Also, we get to see JJ Watt horribly murder him when he dances through the Tacks' awful OL!
Raziel Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Now with less Geographical errors and sadly less exploding heads then Gonzalez's post...Poor Gonzo Dude, Gonzo needs to be bought a keg/case/cask of his favorite spirit for being mistaken for Gonzalez. 1

pipGofern Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 San Diego might want to pay attention to Manny Sanders one of these drives...
Niners Fan in CT Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 This officiating is fucking horrible.
pipGofern Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 I was gonna post "what else is new" but then they basically gift-wrapped a TD to Denver after Peyton threw a pick so, yeah, these guys absolutely suck.

Josh Mann Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 "You gotta rest of the offense?" Coach: "No" "It'd be a lot cooler if you did, man" 1
