The Erotic Terrorist Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Wait a minute I just realized SEA @ CAR is two NFC teams playing on CBS. With the new wacky flex scheduling we have now, that game was switched w/ the Texans game. That works out best to have a big game be seen by a lot of people.
Kuetsar Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Leaving Geno Smith out there at this point is the worst abuse of a QB since that time Spurrier coached the Skins and kept running Patrick Ramsey out there to get the shit beat out of him. Edit: and as I post that, IT'S TIME, IT'S VICK TIME Vick almost threw a pick and the Jets almost lost a fumble on this possession too. . .
Vincey Greene Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 TD Chris Ivory. Cue "With Vick we're gonna make the playoffs and beat New England and win the Super Bowl two years in a row" Nevermind that Mike Vick will almost certainly be hurt and out for the rest of the year within a month.
pipGofern Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Chicago probably can't stop playing AFC East teams soon enough...
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Between Sancho and Geno Smith, Rex has become football's answer to Dusty Baker. I realize I'm in the minority, but I think if Sanchez had started with an offensive-minded HC, he would have been fine. Not the second coming of Joe Montana, but a decent-enough QB. Putting a young QB in Rex's hands? You may as well sign the death certificate for the guy's career. And that's before you get into any issues they have on their own.
BobbyWhioux Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Wait a minute I just realized SEA @ CAR is two NFC teams playing on CBS. I just didn't know they did this now. And with the 49ers on a bye and the London game getting it's own time slot, I get to watch a lot of games today. The Raiders are playing on the road so I might get the two late games too. That's 6 games, just with rabbit ears. If Football Oversaturation is possible, I might get there today.
johnnyboy Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Brady in full DGAF-mode. It's also nice to have actual corners again.
hammerva Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Sammy Watkins with the Desean Jackson stupidity award for celebrating on the 10 yard line instead of paying attention to the guy right behind him
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Sammy Watkins won't live that one down for a long time. 1
Vincey Greene Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Rookies do things like what Sammy Watkins just did. Great pass by Orton but maybe keep your head down next time, rookie, and celebrate in the endzone. Also Cam might not be able to will the Panthers into winning but by god he'll try. Love it.
Vincey Greene Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 And the fumble right as I say that. D'oh
RIPPA Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Again - not for nothing - but going to Kyle Orton looks to have been a brilliant move 1
Death From Above Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Again - not for nothing - but going to Kyle Orton looks to have been a brilliant move People can joke about Orton all they want but he's pretty much "an average QB". You can do a hell of a lot worse digging around for help.
BobbyWhioux Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Love how Carolina is dominating time of possession, is rushing the ball with nigh-impunity, and still only has 6 points. Grrrr.
pipGofern Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 I know it's become a yearly thing to do what Watkins just did but man does it drive me nuts. If I were an NFL head coach I don't care how good you are, if one of my guys did that I'd sit him for a half to think about hos stupidity. If I were an NFL coach I'd probably lose a lot of games...
Vincey Greene Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Austin Davis losing 10 yards on the scramble and being told about it by legendary hater - and cardio slacker - Donovan McNabb. Also don't tell me Arian Foster is washed up, he just destroyed the Titans.
The Man Known as Dan Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Again - not for nothing - but going to Kyle Orton looks to have been a brilliant move He might be the most underrated QB in the NFL honestly. I look at his numbers and always wonder why he's viewed purely as a backup.
BobbyWhioux Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 The way the camera angles are cutting, it creates the impression that Carolina LB Thomas Davis hit the ball carrier so hard he gave an Offensive Lineman on the other part of the field a concussion. Which is pretty amusing because boy did he really hit that guy hard. 1
JLSigman Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 And apparently New England is Bear Hunting before winter closes in. 1
hammerva Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Right now in Chicago it is WILL SOMEONE STOP THE DAMN MATCH This should only help the Cutler/Marshall situation
