Dolfan in NYC Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Nate Silver says the Seahawks are now underdogs to make the playoffs. ESPN's current poll is "Are the Cowboys legitimate Super Bowl contenders?" I lol'ed. And if the Dolphins don't beat the Jaguars this week. . . 1
J.T. Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 The 4-3 Steelers take on the 5-2 Colts. I am not sure what is more depressing: the asswhooping we will get this week or the one next week against the fucking Ravens. The Colts are coming off of a loss, though, so we will see if the Colts come back invigorated or demoralized. Maybe the Steelers will get lucky and the entire Colts defensive line will contract Ebola?
Raziel Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Ah the Cowboys. Beat a now obiviously not great anymore Seahawks team, beat a very well known not great Giants team, and suddenly they're winning the Superbowl again. Wake me when they win a playoff game.

The Colts about to whup some more AFC North ass.
Vincey Greene Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 If you all were wondering, no I'm not buying that the failing Seahawks have any chance at all of losing in Carolina. If my boys put up a good fight, that's enough for me. If I'm wrong that's totally awesome but I am not optimistic. 1
RIPPA Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 The Giants are on bye and the Skins and Cowboys don't play till Monday Looks like I will be doing A LOT of errands this Sunday

The Giants are on bye and the Skins and Cowboys don't play till Monday Unless the Colts beatdown of the Steelers is televised in Maryland, I will be out there with you on Sunday. WE NEED MAPS~! No Giants game means that my girlfriend will drag me to every furniture store in a five mile radius on Sunday. Fuck..
RIPPA Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Indy/Pittsburgh is the national doubleheader game so everyone should get it Except for the poor schmucks living in Cleveland and Oakland (ie: there are only 3 games kicking off after 4 pm)

RIPPA Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Well your first mistake would be shopping at Haverty's to begin with
J.T. Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Well your first mistake would be shopping at Haverty's to begin with We are only going there for end tables and whatnot. We are mostly looking for contemporary furniture. We are totally hooked on the Noah Pub dining room set at Rooms 2 Go. The man loft will consist of nothing but furniture from Lovesac.
Justin877 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 The Giants are on bye and the Skins and Cowboys don't play till Monday Looks like I will be doing A LOT of errands this Sunday take the little fella to Chikara that afternoon in Richmond. Don't 12 and under get in free?
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 The man loft will consist of nothing but furniture from Lovesac. After Sunday's game, this is what will be of your future sofa: Thank you, Andrew Luck! Thank you, drunk team owner! Thank you all!
Pete Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 The Cowboys release Michael Sam. Cue all the homophobes doing a giant "NO ONE CARES!" dance- because that's the new way to say "durr hurr I hate f*****s" now.

Serious Darius Bagfelt Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Cue all the people saying he only got released cuz he likes dudes
RIPPA Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Again - for several reasons the Skins should sign him, not the least of which is the old "so let's talk about the play book" move
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Cue all the people who really have no clue why he got released. That would be 99.999999999% of us. (only half-joking)
Dolfan in NYC Posted October 21, 2014 Author Posted October 21, 2014 He was released because the NFL is a heartless organization and if you are not good enough (for whatever reason) you will be let go. I absolutely doubt this was anything but a football decision. And as a football decision, yes, the Redskins should bring him in and drill him for every play the Cowboys run.
RIPPA Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Plus - the having a GLARING need for a pass rusher
Brian Fowler Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Hell, they could even really use some decent PR off the field.
APO Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 This week would be the perfect time to re-enact the '99 Divisional Playoff game where we humiliated/retired both Marino and Jimmy Johnson.

I absolutely doubt this was anything but a football decision. And as a football decision, yes, the Redskins should bring him in and drill him for every play the Cowboys run. Michael Sam should go sign with the FXFL. The league could use the press and at least he would get on the field
Tabe Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Plus - the having a GLARING need for a pass rusherExcept he's too small to rush the passer as a lineman and too slow to do it as a linebacker, which is why he dropped in the draft to begin with.
