Dolfan in NYC Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I really want this gimmick to keep going, because it will be all of our asses in the hopper soon enough. 2 3
Cobra Commander Posted September 24 Posted September 24 was it bad timing to release the "24 Hours With Tony Khan" video shortly before the Jags got tombstoned by the Bills: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9weLGyrCtU
Lawful Metal Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I can't believe they haven't fired Doug Pederson yet! So either the Jags are gonna be fired up and fighting for Pederson's (and Baalke's) jobs or they just gon quit against the Texans. We'll see. Oh crap. Laremy Tunsil just did another false start! 1
supremebve Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Just had this argument with a coworker. Who would you rather have over their career Kirk Cousins or Andy Dalton?
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 25 Author Posted September 25 Austin Ekeler will be out for Washington this weekend due to a concussion. Skylar Thompson is Day To Day in Miami. With how he played last week... christ, throw Huntley out there. Can't get much worse.

Definitely not Dalton since a redhead has never won the Super Bowl. Actually, that's a fascinating question. My gut would be for Cousins...but then I remember all those bad back-breaking drives when he played in Washington.

I think Cousins is the better player, but Kirk Cousins has made $231,669,486 and Andy Dalton has made $110,627,794. They're both quarterbacks who are only as good as the players around them, but Kirk has played with much better players. When Dalton played with his best supporting cast, Dalton won 10 games four seasons in a row. Kirk playing with elite skill position talent in Minnesota has only won 10 games twice in his career. If I have an average quarterback who will ultimately come up short on the biggest stage, I'd rather have Dalton. They are the same tier of player, but Kirk costs exponentially more. If you give Dalton Diggs, Thielen, Cook, and Jefferson for most of his career, I think he has a much better career. Kirk had all of those guys and won roughly the same percentage of games as Andy Dalton did without them. 1
BloodyChamp Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Dalton is better and I’m a Cousins fan. It doesn’t seem like it in hindsight but the Bengals were a dumpster fire so bad that Palmer, who I’m also a fan of but who also was never popular, wanted out. Dalton came in and immediately did well with some talent but that was about it because you couldn’t tell the Bengals from the Raiders then otherwise. Here’s a question…who is the worst coach? Pedersen or Sirianni? What fans want the coach gone the most? I don’t think the 2 answers are the same but I’m back and forth on it.
Mike Campbell Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Word over the Twitter machine was that Chicago's alleged offensive coordinator had a meeting with both Coach Eberflus and GM Poles regarding the Bears' noticeable lack of offense this season. This follows a video clip of the sideline during the Bears/Colts game of Williams clearly yelling "What kind of call was that?"
RIPPA Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Wacky stat per Trey Wingo Tonight will be the first time the Cowboys ever play a road game on three days rest Every other team in the league has done it at least SIX times
hammerva Posted September 27 Posted September 27 man this Cowboys defense must be bad as hell because Daniel Jones is looking good so far
Kevin Wilson Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Feels like there have been more flags than points
Tabe Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Dallas wins and Tabe survives and moves on in survivor pool at work after having filet mignon for dinner. It's a good day. 2
Mike Campbell Posted September 27 Posted September 27 My dad was blowing up my phone during the fourth quarter to tell me how much Jones sucks. The last thing he sent me was that Jones reminded him of Jay Cutler. It was all I could do to not reply with a smart ass remark about Jones taking the Giants to the NFC Champ game.

Jay Cutler is better than Daniel Jones in almost every way. It's a terrible comparison because Jay Cutler sucked because he super talented but clearly didn't give a fuck. Daniel Jones to his credit is a try hard, he's just not all that talented. We all understood why Cutler was drafted in the first round, nobody understood why Daniel Jones was drafted in the first round. For what it's worth if I'm going to have to root for one of them if rather root for Jones. Cutler throwing an interception and walking off like he didn't give a fuck would make me furious.
Travis Sheldon Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Jones needs to to take up smoking. Problem solved. I'm available for life coaching sessions via Zoom. 1 1
Brian Fowler Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Jay Cutler is, hands down, the best Bears quarterback post-Sid Luckman. Which says a lot about the Bears.
DangerMark Posted September 28 Posted September 28 It can't be easy for Jones, in the shadow of Eli Manning.
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 28 Author Posted September 28 Snoop Huntley will start for Miami this weekend because, fuck it, why not.
