BloodyChamp Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 That PAT decision by the Seahawks was as dumb as not handing it to Lynch! Just less dramatic. Holy crap man. And I don’t think it caused the defense to give up but…yeah

Like this was a brilliant original concept by Ben Johnson and not, you know, kinda the entire bedrock of passing offenses.
Dolfan in NYC Posted October 1, 2024 Author Posted October 1, 2024 You know the new kick rules suck when even the refs are struggling to explain it.
Brian Fowler Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 I have seen this Kenneth Walker III episode before. 1
BloodyChamp Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 The Seahawks are freaking good, but the Lions are just so much better tonight. This is a 90s Packers style beatdown vs a good team which the only reason it’s not a blowout. It’s not a blowout yet they are beating the Seahawks up and down the field every which way besides the few plays the make on the fly because they’re that good.
BloodyChamp Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 If the Lions purposefully didn’t throw the ball anymore and tried to run this out just so they could get Goff a perfect game, it would be legit IMO. That last deep throw was not easy. He just made it look easy. He had to stand in the pocket and step up, but not in to much time.
BloodyChamp Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 LOL yeah that was weird. I thought maybe they’d buzzed from New York because it looked like he was out but he wasn’t, and the ref was right there.

Just kinda nodded and stared at the Sun God
BloodyChamp Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Whew…sometimes I think Campbell is just jock Shanahan
Tabe Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 (edited) I was in a group chat with friends who don't understand what it means to be a Lions fan. Lions up 15 with 2 minutes to play AND the ball? Yeah, I'm not confident. I was trying to explain to them that I have experienced the Lions pulling defeat from the jaws of victory more times than I can count. Then Goff tries to throw a deep pass from the 1 yard line for no reason, gets sacked for a safety, and could have easily fumbled. I mean, there's aggressive and then there's whatever the heck that was. Just run the dang ball, good lord. I suppose it's a sign the Lions have turned a corner that they did the dumbest thing possible on that play, had it go sideways, and still won. 5 years ago, they lose this game, without question.
