Nice Guy Eddie Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 because someone has to post it Rest in peace, Bob Saget 7
Curt McGirt Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 I mentioned this in our Shameless talk not long ago but here's the whole thing. VERY NSFW, as he was wont to be. RIP 1

J.T. Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 (edited) RIP Yvette Mimieux from us lovers of the weird, scary, and gonzo. Edited January 19, 2022 by J.T. 1
odessasteps Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 I watched the Black Hole a couple months ago. Woof
colonial Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 French actor Gaspard Ulliel, who starred in "Hannibal Rising" and the upcoming "Moon Knight", has died from injuries in a skiing accident. He was just 37. https://deadline.com/2022/01/moon-knight-gaspard-ulliel-hospitalized-ski-accident-1234915133/ 1
J.T. Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Yeah, I was sad to hear that. He carried Hannibal Rising on his back and made it better than it should have been. Sad to see that he was getting back on track with an MCU appearance only for this to happen. RIP. 1
The Natural Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 (edited) R.I.P. Meatloaf, 74 years old. News is just breaking now: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-60080934 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-27469244 Edited January 21, 2022 by The Natural 2
HumanChessgame Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Meatloaf will always be Eddie from Rocky Horror to me. When I was in college I saw it at a movie theater almost every Friday. Louie Anderson has died of cancer at the age of 68 https://www.tmz.com/2022/01/21/louie-anderson-dead-dies-blood-cancer-battle/?fbclid=IwAR0CB5BtJGL0_MI9kfgEtokXc8FoVO15971AI-pqhVQPdn1mdLICJnF33vc 1 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted January 21, 2022 Author Posted January 21, 2022 Louie Anderson has passed away from cancer. He was 68. (FYI - Meat Loaf talk is in the musicians thread)
odessasteps Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 He's in that "I thought he had already passed away" camp. 1
Curt McGirt Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 The irony of a man who struggled with his weight his entire life dying of a wasting disease. How terrible. RIP
Contentious C Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Meat Loaf and Louie Anderson in the same day is really putting the lie to that line in Notting Hill: "What is it with men and breasts? (...) Every second person has them." "Well, more if you think about it. I mean, Meat Loaf has a very nice pair." Sorry if that's too soon for anyone, but I think Louie probably would've laughed at that. I doubt Meat did, though.
(BP) Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Rob Zombie posted a nice tribute to Louie. Apparently they got to know each other while they were developing a Fatty Arbuckle biopic together(!) That's one I wish hadn’t ended up in production development hell.

I have a hard time imagining anything that we need to be protected from more than a Rob Zombie version of Hollywood in the 20s. i actually shivered when I read it. Edited January 29, 2022 by piranesi

I guess you probably wouldn’t want to hear about the Groucho Marx biopic that he’s intending to make.
