The Natural
Just now, The Natural said: It's that time of year again. Dave Meltzer: - The new Observer Hall of Fame ballot is out. Newcomers to the ballot include the Iron Sheik, Young Bucks, Jon Moxley, Seth Rollins and Blue Panther. We'll have more on this on shows coming up the next few weeks. I miss discussing this with Old School John every year :(. The Young Bucks will be the most interesting case for the polarization the Bucks bring. You either love or hate them. odessasteps
I thought I had lost my ballot but it came over the weekend. other than Roy Welch, not sure what “new” people I will be voting for on the ballot.
RIPPA
In news that will make some people cranky - apparently Dave forgot to put JYD on the ballot
odessasteps
There are seemingly mistakes every year, like putting people in the wrong category last year.
John E. Dynamite
Since the last guy to burn this torch got banned - how the hell is Shirley Crabtree not in? He's my new Kraftwerk.
Noah Mark
As far as the new names I would go with Blue Panther. As far as Roy Welch he should have went in with the initial class. I mean he's promoted wrestling in the thirties and controlled probably the biggest territory in wrestling at that time. Cobra Commander
Jon Moxley vs the Iron Sheik in a high school gym 50 miles outside of Cincinnati would have been an amazing main event in 1981. I don't think Sheiky gets much of a death bump but he'll probably get a little bit of a death bump.
zendragon
I imagine Panther is a shoe in even though my knowledge of Lucha in limited. Weirdly I feel that the case for the bucks would basically reinventing how you can make a living as a pro-wrestler. Also for helping to start AEW, feel like MOX should wait as he's still going strong. Iron Sheik is kinda a borderline guy more of a WWE HOF than wrestling in general (like The Godfather)
odessasteps
I wouldn’t guarentee anyone bing inducted in any given year, except maybe a 1980/90s Japanese main eventer, given the likely demographics of the voters.

Curt McGirt
Shieky Baby trained a lot of motherfuckers IN the HOF. He 100% deserves it.
odessasteps
Although Sheiky was a former world champion, part of me would be more inclined to vote for Adnan, given crowds he allegedly drew in Iraq. odessasteps
Should my own peronsal guideline to not vote an active participant in the HOF balloting include luchadors over 60, who may never actually technically retire?
Ace
I'd say no. Lucha still seems underrepresented in the HoF, anyways.
odessasteps
Matt's idea was if they are over 50 and still work but not regularly, that's as good as you get to retired in lucha without being disabled to the point of not working anymore. J.H.
Wait... how the hell are the Beauty Paur not in? They were so impirtant to AJW and were mainstrwam stars in Japan. I figured they would have been in the fiest HOF class. Hell no Beauty Pair or Black Pair and we don't have the Dirty Pair! James
