Had Phil on the newest episode of my podcast that dropped today. We talked everything DEAN~! related and covered most everything that’s been announced this far.

Sinner and Saint are the current SMASH tag champs and also hold the Prestige tag titles. Won them both in the same week if I remember right. This whole card looks great.

Just a quick update … Completed my first course in my Google UX Design certification program last week! Already about halfway through the 2nd course which is mire focused on UX research. It’s a bit more hands on with which is nice because I can put into practice what I’ve learned from the videos and the readings. It also slowly helps build a portfolio step by step. So far I’m really enjoying everything too and learning a ton of new stuff.

After much thought, I finally decided to sign up to get my certificate in UX Design today. My friend recommended it to me and said he really enjoys it and encouraged me to dive into it so I did. My current job is pretty much a dead-end job and pays awful with two days a week in office (which means I have to drive 45-60 minutes each way AND pay for parking downtown which the company does not reimburse). Anyway, the course is a six-month course (which I’m aiming to complete in four months) because I’m figuring I can use downtime during my work from home days and power through course material. Afterwards I’ll hopefully be able to land a decent job that keeps me busy.

Last night finally broke me with Dynamite. I thought the Acclaimed stuff with MJF over the past few weeks has been really annoying and the TK “major announcement” was a real let down. If I do watch next week it won’t be live and I’ll go heavy on the fast forward.

Not sure if this has ever been posted or shared here but ... 13 years ago today, Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson fought in their first singles match against each other for HWA in front of about 200 people in a rec center in Norwood, OH.

Been feeling awful since Friday night with cough, congestion, feeling warm and clammy despite not running a temperature, and just general tiredness. Decided to take an at-home Covid test this morning and … well … positive for Covid! To make matters even more fun, my 3-year-old daughter was sick with some viral stomach bug this time last week, which spread to me and my wife Wednesday night/Thursday morning now has spread to my five-year-old who got sick overnight and now has a cough as well and had a fever of 99.5 this afternoon. And now my wife is starting to get the same symptoms I’ve been having. So yeah, fun times in the house right now!

Gotta say, this looks like a damn fine show tonight. The 8-4-1 match is intriguing and Nick Aldis seems like the safe choice to win. Loving the fact we get a 6-man tag street fight and a dog collar match on the same show too. Rest of the card should be pretty solid.

Agreed! I remember when it happened I was so confused. I was watching Chikara here and there at the time so it didn't make a whole lot of sense either. But to hear Joe (aka Leonard F Chikarason) talk in-depth about everything related to it was amazing. I found myself going back and listening to that section again because the detail and the information was so amazing. Probably one of my favorite segments BTS has ever done and I wish they'd do more segments like that on occasion.

I picked up a few things at the comic shop last weekend. Three issues of the Black Widow series from 2021 and two issues of the current Harley Quinn series. I really like the art in the Black Widow series. Going to a different comic shop next weekend so might look to see if I can fill in the gaps of the back issues.

I'm considering going to the Wrestling Revolver show in Dayton on the 17th. It's got Steve Maclin vs. Jake Crist for the Revolver Title, Konosuke Takeshita vs. JT Dunn, Motor City Machine Guns vs. Ace Austin & Chris Bey and Alex Colon vs. Crazy King in an Unlucky 13 Staple Gun Match among other matches.

I’d heard of Jim Brown on and off through the years while watching football and knew he was really one of the greatest players ever. The first time I really became familiar with him though was when he was doing commentary on those really early UFC shows.

Going to rant a bit here but I’m gonna be honest, I could care less if Punk comes back or not. I’m honestly tired of hearing about his second coming every single day on Twitter. I don’t care about the backstage bullshit. I don’t care who he pissed off now. If he comes back great, if he doesn’t that’s fine too. I just care about the stuff happening in the ring.

Have the Bengals ever had a Thanksgiving Day game? EDIT: Yes they have. In 2010 apparently and I have zero memory of that game.

Bengals opening the season away at Cleveland and then closing against Cleveland at home is interesting. First time that's ever happened I think. Then again, my football knowledge only goes back to the 90s (and a bit of the 80s). I can see why they put the Bills game in primetime, it'll be the first time the Bills come back to Cincy since the Damar Hamlin incident and they want to get as many eyeballs on that as possible. Also, it's Burrow vs. Josh Allen. Also, random question ... if more than half of these games are marked as "flex games" then why even list a start time and not leave them as TBD like they did with the Bengals/Vikings game and the end of season Bengals/Browns game?

I’m new to the whole comics game but the Dawn of DC thing interests me. So gonna ask a dumb question here … Is each edition focused on a different character (like Vol 1 is Batman, Vol 2 Wonder Woman, Vol 3 Harley Quinn, etc) or does each character have their own series of comics within the series?
