I have legit never seen him clock over 1K viewers at a time so that's a shocking number if accurate. Most people at his viewer count would be more like a quarter to a third of that sub total, but I'll grant he clearly has a unique audience that may not fit into the usual predictions.

https://twitchtracker.com/mirotwch

He's not tracking subs on the tracer, but since he's averaging 200 viewers a stream, his own on-channel tracker has him floating just over 500.  That's decent, but he's not raking it in like Paige is (she's tracking north of 12k).

It would have been really easy for tonight to be their worst show ever since it was very promo heavy, they were obviously giving a lot of people a break after Saturday, and there were only a few matches.

Except every promo ruled. Like, legitimately really good. Even FTR sounded good. Every match was good to really good and delivered. The main event was the hoss fight i wanted. If I could criticize anything, it's that I wanted JR to ask Kenny why Kenny was such a piece of shit on Saturday and why does his hair keep sucking.

Excellent show.

Also, MOTHERFUCKIN MIRO!!!! I know I said I'd rather see him in NJPW, but I was going crazy seeing him come out. Fuck yeah!

True, it’s possible those numbers are inflated. But I guess my point was he seemed like he had something good going and I selfishly thought he wouldn’t be back in the ring.

Although debuting him in a segment where he puts over Kip Sabian? Y I K E S.

May I ask why you didn’t want him to return to wrestling? If you’re a fan of his and wrestling that seems odd to me.

I’ll wholeheartedly agree though that putting over Kip Sabian is a stupid move. Kicking his head into the fifth row would have been much better.

I am very curious who they give Miro for his first feud, because he will be hot enough they don't have to go to the big money right away.

I don't think it'll be a singles feud, they seem to be positioning him as a tag partner for Kip. Which unlike a lot of people here, I don't have a problem with. It seems like they're actively trying to avoid Impact/TNA syndrome, where anybody that's recently been with WWE immediately gets a top billed feud/push.

Going off of Twitter reactions it felt like Miro's debut was a rip off of every ex WWE guy/gal TNA/Impact has hired and pushed. Glass ceiling, brass ring, rinse and repeat.

You could have watched it for yourself instead of going off of shithole twitter.

It’s true and it was, and on a night of amazing promos it didn’t crack the top 5. But the guy is so God damned lovable and charming that I couldn’t help but smile even if I was getting a circa 2011 Impact Zone ‘we know who that is’ promo

I worded this very poorly—meant to say I selfishly WANTED him to be back, and thought he wouldn’t because he was doing well at something else.

The promo wasn’t good. It was like a dozen TNA promos we’ve heard from guys debuting over the years. And him being in the ring with Kip Sabian hugging him, instead of beating his ass, was pretty lame. But I’m happy to forget it ever happened next week if they’ve got something good lined up for him.

Also, Kip has a lot of talent. He's come a long way since his debut. Partnering up with Penelope has unlocked something in him and his promos keep getting better and his ring work is already ok, but I think he could improve that even more too. Putting him with Miro is fine. Gets him some matches, lets the main storylines play out while he builds a resume, and then when it's time you can split him off. Plus, Miro's charisma is infectious as hell. He made Aiden English enjoyable and that guy otherwise fucking sucks.

Miro is like the sun. Everyone in his orbit benefits.

Think of Dark like Sunday Night Heat or Shotgun Saturday Night

I was thinking the other day that the reason I like Dark so much is it's the closest thing to WCW Saturday Night we've gotten since it ended and that is some of my favorite wrestling ever. Competitive squashes and mid card vs mid card/jobber vs jobbers where you have no clue who is winning.

Great promo work tonight all around and Miro is All Elite. All that and the Raptors won, give me more Wednesdays like that.

man people are going to be so disappointed when it's just Miro & Kip as a tag team, picking up where they left off before Jimmy Havoc was revealed to be a piece of shit. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this, and people would complain if Miro debuted as a challenger to Moxley or Brodie because "oh man it's giving me TNA vibes".

The Miro debut fell a little flat to me. I think it was probably better not to have him debut as part of the Casino  Battle Royale, especially if the idea of that match was to put over Lance Archer.

I'm just not sure what the angle is of pairing him up with Kip Sabian. Or maybe Kip Sabian felt like he needed more muscle, but we'll see.

Just seems weird that Matt Hardy is still waiting to be medically cleared if he was not concussed and injury free after All Out as Tony Khan claimed. Hardy's promo felt more like a publicity stunt to reinforce to people that Hardy was OK after that fall.

Fun show. Dug the Kenny/Hangman sitdown interviews. Love seeing Tay Conti's Dynamite debut. Very much looking forward to Thunder Rosa vs. Ivelisse. Also looking forward to Moxley/Archer and the build to that. Great main event, the outcome never in doubt but still had some good near falls for Dustin.

I fee like it’s pretty straightforward?  Kip is getting married.  He needs a best man.  Miro is THE BEST MAN.

I really, really, really hope that Hangman is able to convince Kenny to do the rematch for the titles, only for Kenny to let Hangman take an ass beating and walk away without being tagged in.

And then the following week we get good hair Cleaner Kenny back.

I'm so happy I didn't buy any AEW shirts over the weekend. I came close to buying the millennial cowboy shirt, but I'm not a cowboy and I hate country music.

I will for sure get a BEST MAN shirt if they sell one and it doesn't suck.

That's a little underwhelming. Even Brodie Lee being the exalted one was a better angle and put together better.
